I ran into his page a while back when I was on a "homemade synth" kick. So impressive.
I saw you posted some BLEEP LABS stuff too. I own a few of their things and they are rad. I run a few of their noisemakers through my MS-20 mini and patch into sample and hold APHEX style. I need to check out any of their new products, they are so rad.

Now I want to go modular.

These pieces by Love Hultén are some of the most beautiful instruments I've ever seen.

When I first saw Hultén's work, it was a bit like seeing sci-fi artist Dan McPharlin's cardboard concepts becoming functional instruments. They're both in that sort of 1970s retro-future territory.

I've been into Dan McPharlin's work for years.
The funny thing is, I have no idea how I got into him.
All I remember is his stuff started popping up in my flickr feed (back before they went batshit crazy switching their hosts every fucking year) and that I thought it was cool.

I probably found him through Google Images, when I was searching for synth concepts/rarities. That led me to his commercial work and private drawings.
I'm not sure if he still posts here (or if he had a duplicate user name), but E.A. is a McPharlin fan, too.

McPharlin was supposed to release an album of his own, but I don't think he ever completed it. You can hear some synth-driven tracks here though.

It's unclear to me whether he is focused on commercial work now, or if he's coasting on his past commissions, while he concentrates on personal projects. Either way, there hasn't been much shared publicly in a couple of years and he has no Instagram presence. His known Web accounts have been inactive for a while.

That's been up there forever. A few months back there was a REALLY cool mandala looking drone thing. I waited a couple days too long on that one. :'(

I'm guessing you mean this one. This would also be a cool look for a phaser or a modulated delay.
