Deftones is a one of those bands where the vocals ruin it for me. Just can't hang. And I love terrible vocals lol.

For me this would apply to Balance & Composure; I do like them, but... those monotone vocals. This guy has one octave and that's it.

This is 100% true.

I don't like deftones, but whenever my girlfriend plays them, I'm like "I guess I could hang with this." And then it ends and I still don't like deftones.

Casecandy, the Deftones comment might be, to me, one of the most valid things I've seen you post here  you are absolutely right

Sometimes I get it right. #LawOfAverages

Re: my statement, insert the name of any "serious" post-grunge or nü-metal band.

"Linkin Park are, paradoxically, both better and worse than you think they are at any given point in time.

yeah you lost me again

there's no need to generalize. a perfect statement for one band is a perfects statement for that one band, nothing more, nothing less. Don't water it down, dilute it and take away the power by generalizing :poke:

You know what i mean, right?

I feel you.

Okay, so just Deftones.

The better/worse band.

Okay, there is no way Cryptamnesia is the best TMV.
