Yeah, they look fun.
I think Nora's dog would really enjoy them.

If I used those in front of my dog, he would crouch down, growl, snarl, and bark his head off. He has a thing for implements like that. When I first got him, he freaked out and attacked the axe I was using to chop a tree. He has similar reactions when I shovel snow.

Just let him use 'em as toys. He'll destroy 'em and you can record it.

Hendrix and Townshend perfected that stuff back in the 60's. I don't think I could do anything to further that.

No, but your dog could.

Nora, you should teach that dog how to bow a gong:

My boy just ripped up my Jennifer Lopez collection bed sheets. The first thing I need to teach him is some manners.
Did you go to that show or know how the neighborhood is? I don't typically go into Philly because of the undesirables.

Didn't go to the show. Found out about it after the fact.
I just moved out of that neighborhood. It's much better than it used to be even a few years ago. There're still undesirables about, but that area is gentrifying rapidly.

Daniel Schmidt and the Berkeley Gamelan - And the Darkest Hour is Just Before Dawn

Not sure if you've heard this, but it's a home made aluminium gamelan mixed with early electronic samples of a string quartet - I think it's beautiful and I'm quite gutted to discover that the entire run of the LP is sold out and now changes hands for ridiculous prices... ah well, it sounds amazing anyway.

My boy has a perfect upside down star on his butt. I call him Starbutt.
