So now, instead of a Bee chimera, we get some sort of ghostly skeleton pegacorn? :animal:

Edit: wait, how did I get a horse out of muff? I'm not going to question this...

Are you changing the name from AONYS to BONYS?
Did I say why it's called AONYS? I can't remember.

You guys will be happy. Trust me! :)

The Bee Baa will be revisted too. We're talking about it already. Just not as complicated.

Bummer about all the setbacks but I'm liking where this is going! Any ETA on the first prototype?

Now I just have to delay my bands trip to the studio until after this comes out so we can have it featured on our EP.

Well we talked about trying to get it in my hands by May. Which sucks, but all good things come to those who wait. :) I just wish I would have waited to start this thread. hahaha. You never know what's going to happen! I'm in love with the idea of what we're going to do now, so it's kind of a blessing in disguise. I wasn't at first, but the more I've thought about it, the more I like it.

I think an early thread was a good idea, building up mad hype! I'm really excited for this and I think the new direction you're going is even better. It's not like we already paid or anything, so I'm fine with the wait. I do have to pick up a bass fuzz for the mean time though.

Muff based huh? It'll have to be super extra awesome to bump off my Pickle Pie B. I've tried plenty of other muff based or muff-like fuzzes, and I always come back to my Pickle Pie B for its deep grind and super useful shape knob.

Except on my active Stingray. Then it kinda sounds like ass. Like you take modern/clear tone and add a bit of wollyness to it, and it sounds like some teenager playing slap riffs through a fartty amp with all the mids cut out and the treble on full on rage-boner mode. Just shitty. If I completely change the EQ and the Pickle Pie settings it sounds a bit better, but then it sounds like dubby old muff ass when I play my passive basses through it again.

Soooooooo... I may be looking forward to a/b this guy with my Pickle Pie, and keep it set up for my stingray. The Pickle Pie I'll keep for my p bass and Jack Casady.

I'm not a BM-circuit-type fan generally.

Holding out for sound clips.

Most octave fuzzes you can sell me by breathily whispering their names real slow...but...the BM...is like the last kid I'd pick for a kickball team.
