Congratulations on the funding, I am very interested to see what the final product is going to look like. Cartridges and all.

Not quite in the clear yet. People can still back out at the last minute.

For those who want a chance to get in on the Console, to help contribute, but don't have the moolah. We are doing a "share and win" give-a-way for a CONSOLE III over at facebook :

We'll have final specs within the week.

INT-eresting...

Looking forwards to the specs. Can anyone then buy empty shells (when ready) or do we have to like sign up?

I'm interested because although my own pedal visuals are important, they take so long to do (not having much free time). This way I can get some designs out there for cheaper and quicker. Is there exclusivity on the designs or can we keep on selling existing ones we made in our normal enclosures?

Yup, and nope. Check out the kickstarter page again... all the info is there. :)

Of course I hope this works out, and that everybody who invested gets something good out of it. And not that my opinion on it means shit but it's cool that Dev is owning up to her past transgressions. I mostly just don't like the weird Dev-circlejerk that can happen, I think that in the past Devi has fostered it herself but I also get the feeling from your posts that you've recognized how weird and gross having that echo-chamber can be.

Also, not to be a fucking old piece of shit but I do think that some of you guys with more disposable income don't understand quite how upsetting it can be to plunk down money and not get things on time.

I will definitely buy a Console II if this all happens. I'll stick it on my board next to my Sega Genesis and fuck with people.

It would be so cool if you could plug atari cartridges into the Console, and have it play the theme/level music, like some playstation games did.

Someone needs to see about getting a SID chip on a cartridge...
