First impressions here. Hehe. First. Yea right. I've owned the Fuck, TAFM and Year 4545 before.
So as a bass player who plays active bass. That's 18v active bass right thar. The Sparkle and White Fritter both are utterly useless to me. Treble boost with a bass player? Not so much. Cool pedal though. The only reason the White Fritter didn't go is because of the low end loss. It squashed the shit out of it.
The 4545 is cool, but WAY too noisy IMO. I like this box, but I don't like how much feedback it has. It reminds me of the Torns Peaker. Great sounds but when not playing, it's almost unbearable. I think a cool feature would be the feedback on a exp jack. So you can control the amount you want in the circuit with your foot. Not even sure if you could do that Brian, but do it. Refine this bitch a bit for me. I love you.
The TAFM is pure sex on bass. God I hate myself for selling my TAFM. I needed the money though! FUCK! I want another TAFM bad now. It sounds soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. Seriously one of, if not the best fuzz pedal out there for bass (next to my lovely Depth Charge of course).
The FUCK. I like the Fuck, but want to love the Fuck. I like saying fuck. heh. The Fuck Overdrive is a great little box, but again, it losses some low end. I'm curious what circuit this guy is based on. Has that been mentioned before and I missed it? Anyway, good pedal, but not for active bass. Sigh. What is really?
