One Friday night, when I lived in Minneapolis, I got on a bus going from downtown St. Paul to downtown Minneapolis with a few friends. There was a group of five or six African American persons sitting towards the end of the bus. This wouldn't be significant if one member of the group, a rather loud woman, wasn't recounting some events which had just transpired between their group and some sort of rival group ( ). A few select quotes that I can remember include, "They hit bitches too!" and, my favorite, "Wait 'til I get my AK! Wait until I. get. my. AK!" Maybe you just had to be there.

Also, DFA1979 is reuniting! I have said for years that they are the one group I would make reunite if I had the power too. This even includes bands with dead members that I would be able to resurrect. I first heard of them right around the time they broke up, so I never got a chance to see those two live(and I was 14 at the time). I hope to the sweet lordy lord that they go on a national tour...and they grow those sweet, sweet mustaches back.

Yeah DFA reuniting oughta be cool. I hope it lasts.

I'm not mad even though those dudes took 8 days just to ship the pots and knobs I ordered and I dunno when they'll arrive. I'm just so glad this guitar is finally, finally near completion.
I'M NOT EVEN MAD THAT MY BUFFING WHEEL GOT ALL PACKY AND STIFF IN SOME AREAS AND ATE INTO THE CLEAR COAT A LITTLE BIT! It's alright with me. If it was really bad I'd just respray it but fuck that.
