Oh! Very cool! Did Rhys contact you back in the last days? I'm waiting for a reply to my mails for a few weeks now. :poke:

no....he's not been the best at communication unfortunately. I'm so happy this finally arrived :!!!: i'm still waiting for an eco mod. UC has also recently bought from him and just got word that his eco mod is on the way. I guess rhys is a pretty busy guy building pedals.

really it was only five weeks for an international order, it was four weeks for an order I just received from local mountainking so I can't really complain. alan at mountainking was better at communication though with updates.

The strange thing is that when I asked him a question about the DPM-2 while it was on the way to me last month he responded within a few minutes. Well, as you said, he might have a very busy period.

I believe he just moved too, so that might be part of it. I can't wait to hook this up to my pitch computer and memory loss

You don't have an Octave Synth as well, do you?

Is the Pitch Computer related with the DPM-2? This one is a really cool unit and for sure a keeper! I was GASsing a few years for it and then this one finally popped up at eBay/UK. Now it's mine! MINE! :animal:

I'm not sure. I got one of the original four or five he made for some Japanese store. got lucky at reverb.com and snagged it.
It became a production model and was still listed on his website last time i checked last month when i ordered the kompact and eco mod. Mine differs in how the modes function from the later version, which is sort of similar to the dba robot.
here is a demo i made of it, its so awesome

What a crazy machine! No, that's not on my wish list. It's a bit too strange for my taste. I have synthesizers for such freaky stuff. The DPM-2 sounds totally different. More like a ring modulator gone wild. But with very useful sounds if dialed in cleverly. If I should find an Octave Synth (Who has one for sale?!) and a Mind Warp in the future, I'm happy and satisfied Seppuku-wise. I would love to try a few other of Rhys' creations, but I don't feel the urge to own them all.

Indeed. The dpm-2 sounds awesome I imagine. I've been on a bit of a crazy delay hunt that the seppuku memory loss started me down, the kassette and echo mod seem in the same ballpark. I really like the "house sound" of seppuku starting with the pitch computer, the acid fuzz also shares the aesthetic so I assume all of his pedals will please me to no end. I just wish he were building more models and they were readily available.

I second that. And it was nice if he'd keep his pedals in the product line for several years.
