Doppel post as I has information needs.
While I had a nice delicious beverage and my wife ate taco's tonight, I was regaled with tales of her day and all I could think was-
"How can I wire up a 4x12/2x10 cab for 4ohms"
so, 4 8ohms can be 2ohms wired all para correct? just had cocktails. tequila is nummy. math not so much. so 2x10 at 4 each gives me 2ohms, in series, 4 total.
i have a ton of 8ohm 12's but will need some 10's and it seems after a quick look around that the emmy legends are the only good option? Is there something out there I am not seeing or aware of? they'll need to be able to handle some serious power as the 2 speaker side will be getting hit hard.
And yes this is for the freakishly awesome GK FH cab. Lately I've been hearing a thud sound out of it and I think the speakers are getting more than they can handle, and starting to show the wear and tear. It's lie they are reaching the limit of excursion and wacking whatever stops them.

Take the cap off and leave the now foam filled bottle near where the bastards hang out. You'll have to reshake it from time to time. The apple vinegar attracts em, the suds are to slick for them and they sink into it and drown. Very sadistic, while remaining totally non toxic. (dependent on soap.) Eco friendly death for shit bugs. hmm. that may be a new song title.
ah, this is good because I've whacking this QM on my banana-strapped head for about an hour and the little fuckers seem to find it amusing.

That was both informative and helpful to Gaia, the spirit of the earth.

With a skull like that, you should consider a career change to professional fighting. Or politics.
Both are interchangeable these days.

Honestly, I hate hashtags, but I find them a quick way to get sardonic cuts across in a manner more efficient than spouting verbiage ad nauseum whilst keeping with current Zeitgeist.
Unlike that last sentence, which was anything but.
Also I gave myself way to much credit with the whole "sardonic" wit thing, but hey, you gotta be kind to yourself occasionally.
Two questions, both related to each other:
Anyone used tru oil on exotic wood?
Anyone got a Wenge neck?
And, they lead to:
Anyone use tru oil on Wenge?

on the hashtag topic...i was reading some article about the divide between generations...some girl last year had tweeted something along the lines of :
"OMG, i just saw my dad's phone from the 90's and there was a hashtag button on it...i did my research and twitter wasn't around then...why did the phone have a hashtag on it...weird?!?"
also...i started watching Trailer Park boys last night...i really liked it...reminds me so much of Fubar...love that kind of humour!

hessian chick is rad. So no thoughts on 4ohm 10 inch speakers? I guess it's not that common as I have not found a ton of options.

No idea mang, I've never fucked with 10's on anything more than a 'borrowed a cab' basis.
