I've never been a huge fan of the Marvel Univers but after seeing these ones i have to say....that i am still not a fan.

You must have not been paying attention.
Did you not
see when the one punchman hit the other punchmans? It was like, "wow, that punchman is strong!".
brb gotta rewatch all the movies in awe of this revelation
I think the biggest problem is that you didn't get the whole story! You've got to watch all 67 movies in order to really get it!

The missus amd I blew through Flowers on Netflix last weekend, which initially had an absurd British comedy feel and then ended all Sartre-like. Highly recommended.

Got to admit I only watched a small amount of the Marvel movies.
- the first couple of Iron Man were good
- The first two spider-man episodes (sam raimi-era) were good too, reminded me of the animated series i watched when i was a kid. Wait, are those from early 2000s? guess i was i kid when these came out too.
- I hate the disney-ish humor that is now all over the star wars/marvel/whatever productions, but Thor Ragnarok it's so stupid it actually crosses the line and becomes a comic movie, and i enjoyed it for that
- all the talking about it made me watch Black Panther some months ago, and it is actually better than i expected.
- think i saw bits and pieces of other ones but was never interested to watch those entirely
Unrelated but I've been on a nostalgic anime kick lately, planning to re-watch Tekkonkinkreet for the hundredth time one of these nights.

I've honestly watched pretty much all of the Marvel movies until the most recent ones. I finally realized I wasn't really enjoying them. It was starting to feel like a job trying to keep up with everything. The only thing I'd really go back to watch is maybe the first Iron Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies

I think I've most of the Marvel movies? Didn't watch Ultron Avengers, Ant-Man, or Capt. Marvel, though.
Early Marvel movies were cool because they were pretty different. Iron Man 3 through, like, the current stuff just wasn't super great for the most part, honestly. First GOTG was fun, second not as much.
Infinity War/Endgame honestly was just the kind of thing I watched to finally finish the movie universe, I guess? I wouldn't say they were awesome, though.
Anyway, I'm all about that Mando right now.

OK, given yesterday's announcement from Disney, i guess there are 10 new Marvel series/movies coming in the nest two or three years to be added to that number
BUT
The Star Wars fanboy in me is sooooooooo impatient to see the now confirmed upcoming Obi Wan series featuring Ewan McGregor

YUSSSS started the second series a few days ago. Seems like they got a lot of money to spend on special effects this time? the first episode was really good.

The first Ant-man is probably the best of all them - but I like a good heist caper.
Capt Marvel was fine. Just made me wonder how much all of my nin shirts from high school would be worth now.

For me the big news was Noah Hawley + Alien(s).

The latest season of The Expanse is keeping my attention thus far and has a greater sense of finality than prior ones with one of the key characters randomly dying. The missus and I also thoroughly enjoyed Nobody's Looking, a sacrilicious delight.

So I ended up reading Sweet Home on Webtoon all the way through and didn't realize there was a netflix adaption of that coming out until it showed up in my feed. I've almost binged the whole season but holy fucking crap is it awesome. The production value and attention to detail as far as accuracy to the comic is really fucking crazy. That coupled with how over the top it is just makes it so entertaining to watch. Do recommend.

If you like toon violence and mythology, Blood of Zeus is fairly epic.
