Yeah that sounds like a much bigger amp at work. Nice low end from what I could hear.

You should work on a Super Superfuzz, Nick.

I'm starting to realize that's one of the best fuzz circuits ever, by far. A couple of tricks on one and you could have one of the most badass fuzz pedals around.

Especially if you could parallel blend it with a muff of some sort. I know Devi did something like that. A Dunwhich Superfuzz/Muff with parallel blend is something I'd definitely pay a fair amount for as I imagine it'd be a lot of work.

Used a Decimator when I had an Engl, worked quite well but I couldn't compare it to anything

I still dont know which i'm getting...seeing yours though makes me think i should have gone with purple!

Thanks! It will be cool to see what Mark sends your way. The caveat to the purple is that it hides the graphic from some angles. I don't mind that, since I have a stealth Pharaoh, and when the light hits it, BAM PURPLE JEEZUS IN YO RIFFS.

Ok, I'm back after the downtime to say I hope you're doing ok whiskers. I posted something to that effect with a whole bunch of other catch up and it got eaten at the start of the site malfunction.

Had migraine the other day that put me on my ass for two days afterwards. Was not happy.

AOR arrived though. So sexy. Am having volume drop issues though. Drops in and out after about 20 minutes. I'm hoping it's either a bias issue or as simple as new tubes. Any other trouble shooting suggestions?

Holy shit. That purple ritual.
Makes me want one in silverflake sparkle. 70s cyclops Jesus is best cyclops Jesus.

And fuck yes to satanic superfuzz. I fucking love my fz2.

You could have an issue with a wire heating up and partially coming away from whatever connection it makes. It's something heat related - so tube, transformer or connection!

I'm hoping it's not transformer related. Dang.
I heard pin wiring could be a culprit so thanks for seconding that Nic. I'll have to have a look under the hood when I get some time. Sadly I can't afford to take it to the shop right now, but if it isn't a simple fix I guess I'll have to make it a priority.

When I got mine I had a similar issue. Different people gave different suggestions, but someone said I might have a faulty/dirty pot or jack. So I opened it up and cleaned everything out really well, it took care of my problem, but I guess it would depend on how your volume is cutting out. Mine was pretty quick and stuttery.

Cool. I'm gonna have a look at all those things as well.
Mine is the wave like drop to quietness, surge back again.

My VTM has this same problem. Unfortunately it's without a headshell and after I bought it I found out that it had some mods done to it. Kind of crummy. It still sounds good but I'm less motivated to fix it and far more interested in just throwing the fucking thing away.

People in this city seem less inclined to buy gear that needs to be fixed (don't blame them) so it's not really worth selling. I won't trash it, either. Eventually I'll get a headshell and get it up and running. Same with the Beta Lead. Unf.
