Doesn't the Boss switcher do it? If not look into Disaster Area Designs.

Try your broadcast. It worked on the dd20 to change presets. Not really going to help though.

how the hell did you do that? I don't have the broadcast anymore. kind of figured I didn't need it or the reflex with the assign functions on dd500 and hotswitch on space. thing was sick tho...
the more I look into it, it seems people just use midi to mess with parameters. what I want to do is change presets on my space/dd500 at the same time, with 1 press. romansvoki(sp?) pls help. I'm a fuckin n000b

Reflex should work if it is the same as the dd20. The ext control footswitch thing takes +5v as a connected switch on the dd20 and you could assign it to change presets. I just put the broadcast in there as an lfo and it cycled presets. The key is to keep the delay time under the cycle time of the broadcast/lfo or else youll never get repeats. I don't know if the dd500 is the same though.
Another fun trick is to to use more random or varied lfos with a longer pattern (something like the ghost from Lightning wave access at or the sample and hold on the broadcast) as a tap tempo generator...instant varying delay times. Of course, dd500 can do all that already, but you could probably modulate the modulation via tap tempo, automation style.
Preset switching should be no big deal via midi. I used to use the big behringer for my adrenalinn.

hey resincum - I use a Disaster Area 8D to change multiple presets simultaneously with 3 strymon big boxes and an eventide h9. It's pretty easy to use, once everything is set-up, but it's a whole 'nother big box on the board. I may be wrong, but I don't think the smaller boxes (DMC-3 or DMC-4) save presets. But, with the DMC-6 (or 8), you just navigate to the presets you want, then you hold a stomp down to save the presets (in your case the DD-500 and Space) and it saves it in the DMC.
here's a video that explains it (part about presets starts at 2:14): https://youtu.be/e2i2Ya9WUTw?t=2m14s (sorry I don't remember the trick to get the video to embed on the forum - the youtube code link isn't working)

Their pedals are known for being cheap & sounding equally so, which isn't a real surprise, but they all look "not" "bad" Somebody else please make that pedal?
Also, I know the quality will probably be marginal (+/- than an Eastwood), but still cheaper than a real Mosrite, or a Hallmark, for that matter?:
I've seen these so much since they were announced and I want them to just have that same type of neck pickup in the bridge position so bad. It's Danelectro though, which means it has to have lipstick tube pickups, for some reason.
I would totally rock a Hallmark, I wish I could afford one.

I finished this recently...
Surfy Bear FET Reverb DIY kit. JFET/Mu-Amp based 63 Fender Reverb recreation, with a spring pan. Sounds really damned good, but I already think I need a different reverb pan. I put a MOD in there, because they looked like good quality, but it doesn't really have that surfy "drip" to it. It's great for a long tail, ambient sounding spring reverb. I think I'm going to pick up an Accutronics pan and try that out next. Thankfully they're not that expensive and it's plug and play.

What elevenstrings said.
DMC3XL and DMC4 both can do that too, and save presets like the 6D and 8.
BUT!
You actually don't need to get a dedicated controller to change presets, because both DD-500 and Space are capable of sending Program Changes messages. So you only need a MIDI cable and map the presets in both units accordingly.
The only downside is that if you bypass either it won't bypass the other one, but I'm pretty sure there is a workaround for this too, like having a saved preset that loads in bypass.

great news everybody I'm going to try and figure it out with just a midi cable in that case. the added flexibility from the dmc stuff is definitely appealing though, I'll see what's up. thank you!!

M3 makes those pickups for a variety of situations.

I want a multitap box. Like, I tap on it and it sends different tap messages to my pedals in different subdivisions.

Yeah I could get on board with that. Include a midi input to source tempo from midi clock and this would be golden.

I am almost certain copilot Adam could build this.

I guess, altough I would pretty much require tap averaging for something like this.
Maybe if I poke at the right folk in Disaster Area Designs...
