The one that really gets me is gifted movie tickets. They spend 20$ on two movie tickets in gift card fashion .. you go there... and then they charge you 3$ each as a "convenience fee" ... what the fuck?

I kind of agree with Walt.. gift certificates are a racket.

I've always held the belief that gift cards are bullshit and it'd be better to give cash for a specific venture, but the way that establishments "honor" them is even more bullshit.

no reason to fuck around your customers over an arbitrary exp. date. essentially making what was once real money useless to the patron while the business still capitalizes.

Wow, this winter is really kicking my ass in a way I didn't expect.
Just shoveling my driveway and walk leaves me completely wiped out.

Why is it that people in their 40's and 50's seem to have more trouble paying a fucking invoice online than my 70 year old father?

Buy Low, Sell High, Collect Early and Pay Late? I've found that to be quite true dealing with businesses atleast...

It's just a baffling experience.
I'll have someone dog me for weeks about something I told them would take a while, and then they won't pay when it's done.
Or they'll say they didn't get the invoice and I'll have to re-send it twenty-five times because they keep deleting it or it keeps going in the spam file which they don't look at.

So I had my CT scan, and my sinuses are completely blocked. I have polyps and infection all over. The doctor gave me a garbage bag full of prescriptions and told me I'll probably need surgery to remove the polyps. I'll be going back in early January to see what kind of surgery I'll most likely need. Could be worse I guess

Yeah man it's fairly sub-optimal..
They gave me prednisone and 4 weeks of antibiotics and then a medicated sinus spray that apparently can give you yeast infections as one of the side effects.. It's all balls. It'll be ok though. I'm still on the good side of the grass.

Sucks, but hopefully it's a step in the right direction.

Oh yeah man. I'm not really even joking when I say that if some sort if playful trickster appeared and offered a trade of like a few of my toes or a finger to have this all go away.. I'd probably go for it. Thanks for the feels guys
