Ooh a Fuzzy Lady! What's it like? I am really really GASing for one! I need a fuzz face in my collection but I just can't find one that I seem to gel with, the fuzzy lady has come close though and it's a decent price!

I've not really tried many fuzz face style pedals, but I A/B'd the fuzzy lady against a fuzz face clone with a tone and bias control and the fuzzy lady won out. It's got more fuzz, and a nice 'woody' germanium tone helped along by the silicon (I'm not really into all Ge fuzzes) but it's still pretty bassy even with the toggle switch in the 'treble' position. I usually prefer more trebly tones but it's really grown on me. (I'm using a strat into a fender amp BTW). And what's best about the fuzzy lady is the bias control which is really useable. At about 10-11 o' clock I can get some wolf computer style tones out of it. The standard FF clone's bias control didn't really do much at all in comparison. The only downside is that it doesn't work very well with a wah.
I'd like to try the SiClops too, but this will do me for now.

I just watched GMD's shootout between the Fuzzy Lady and SiClops, he used an SG (like I use) with his Dr. Z and the tone the Lady was putting out killed me! I think im gonna take a punt at one of these

All in good time. I really want one but I HAVE to finish this moog setup thing first, it's one of those things that once you start on a setup you have to see it though.
well I am selling my murf if you are interested. I am also open to trades and i hear you have a plethora of pedals.

I really dig it. If I wasn't going back to making goofy noise music I'd definitely keep it around. Nice dirty analog repeats. It does get a bit reverby. Good times?
