GEETARS:

2008 MIA Fender Telecaster modded to fuck and back. This is my go to guitar. It is my favourite thing in the world and nothing can replace. It will stay with me forever.

This is my numba 2 guitar.
2008 MIJ Fender Jaguar. This thing rules. I just got it fixed up, so I'll probably be using it a lot more. It's a different sound than my tele. Love it too, but it's pretty new still. I've had it for a few months, and been working out of town for a while. It also spent a while in the shop.

Numba 3:
My Chapman Guitars ML-1! It's number... I don't remember. It's pretty neat though. It doesn't get used with the bands as much as the other too, but I use it all the time for teaching. The kids love it haha. They say it looks the business and what not. Still an awesome guitar, I just need to change the pickups to something more my style.

Thanks. It was pretty easy. The hardest part is actually getting the strap out.
I couldn't get good access to the strap in that car without going through a bunch of shit that I was unwilling to do, so I just pulled it as tight as possible, found the longest part and went at it with a boxcutter; same with the buckle-end of the strap. It turned out to be juuuuuuust the right length. Just cut it as long as possible since it's better to have too much than not enough. Actually, I'm 6'7" and it reaches my waist so I'm sure it will prolly be enough.
So then I went up to the arts and crafts store and found a little sheet of synthetic leather...I don't remember the exact price but it wasn't much. I cut it into a basic...trapezoidal...oval...strap end form?
Just make sure the shape is mirrored.
And from there it was super simple sewing technique. I'd never sewn anything before but it's a few stitches to hold everything together and a knot to tie it off, anybody can do that no problem! I don't think the actual thread used matters; there was just some black thread in the house. Feels sturdy to me.
I tried to rip it apart after assembly and it ain't happening :idk:

It may not be as padded as a Couch brand strap, but it is my seatbelt. If you had two of them you could even make a more comfy adjustable strap. I'm thinking of slicing out some seatbelts at the wrecking yard next time...

Time to make a trip to the junkyard...

Thanks. I'll try putting together some demos or something. Unfortunately I need to get it set up. It came factory set up and boxed, and it has a lot of fret buzz on the 2 lowest strings. So I need to get that looked at, and while I'm at it, I'm going to get the tech to switch it from F# - E to B - A (In other words I'd like 1 low 1 high, instead of 2 low). In the mean time I'm working on some Scale the Summit stuff that is played on 7 string instead of their usual 8, so I don't need the high A.

I think GBC is a Bee Basses endorser, of course he likely has many other basses that aren't from Bee.

I love me some coffee table basses,...but I can't stand that fact that if you play one you are automatically pigeon holed as a Jazz or Prog player. Not saying that's happening here on ILF,...it just seems to be a general consensus among the casual on lookers. Bust out a bass like that and you must be the best bassist in the world.

Another case in point,...I get typecast as a metalhead cause I rock this:

While I think my band is agro and has some metal leanings it is most definitely not metal.
