Watched Free Solo tonight, recommended whether you like mountain or not, really intense.
I didn't realize that was on Disney+! I've wanted to watch that for awhile! My fiancee actually got Disney+ a few months ago and I still haven't even logged on to check it out yet

Sarah Connor Chronicles is worth watching if you're on lockdown and were ever a Terminator fanboi. won't go so far as to say that it's good, but it's no worse and maybe better than some of the last 3-4 movies, and the finale left me actually wanting more.

Actually stumbled upon it while looking for norther documentary, didn't knew it too. Anyway it's not a huge platform like Netflix or Amazon Video etc, but if you dig in the National Geographic section there are some really interesting things.

Rebels is also a pretty good one... Darth Maul's story arc is really.... relatable I guess? I was surprised by it.

it's nothing new or amazing, but for mindless, RIDICULOUSLY violent actiony fun times, Extraction was an enjoyable watch.

I really liked Extraction as well. It was nice to see Thor not be Thor. LOL
SPOILER!
How the hell did that guy shoot him all the way from across the world? He had a rifle, but even with a red dot optical scope, I just don't see how he could have hit him from so far away. Then taht fucking kid at the end from behind. That pissed me off. LOL

There were a lot of parts in that movie that just didn't make sense, honestly.
Like at the end where that Colonel seemed to be making mile-long shots with a fucking SL8. That's not to mention that the angle he supposedly hit people at never matched with what was shown on camera. Then there's the part where half the show has the one "bad guy but not really the bad guy" kill Rake's
entire squad and Rake then turns around and is like "okeydokey, I trust you now".

The show certainly did well following the "action movie whose plot you might as well ignore because it's so fucking stupid a teenager could probably write a better one" trope.
Other than that it was okay, I guess. Aussie John Wick in India, basically.
But I honestly hope they don't use the ending as an excuse to make a sequel.

lol. maybe it goes Reverse Wick and becomes more believable as it progresses?
yep. a loooot of WHAT things, but it was enjoyable in a... i dunno... Modern Day Hyper Violent Schwarzenegger Without The Cheese Action Heritage way?

BREAKING A GUYS NECK BY FUCKING SWINGING ANOTHER GUY INTO HIM
.

Agreed on on counts! LOL! I just wish that Chris Hemsworth would do a film that highlights his actual talents. Acting. LOL! He's funny, he's smart and he's a good actor that gets wasted in action films. Sigh. I guess someone has to take over that role for the next generation.
That film had enough dialog to fill a single college spaced piece of paper. hahahaha
I did enjoy the hell out of it and love mindless action movies like everyone I'm sure. They are dumb but fun.

did you see the I Wish I Was As Good A Screenwriter As Tarantino crime thriller in a hotel thing where Hemsworth was a cult leader? not the best movie, but he got to flex his acting chops in that a bit.
Edit - BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE. that one. i liked it. not amaaaaazing, but a good movie.

Hah! I just figured out what you were talking about on IMBD then see your edit. LOL!! That looks good! I didn't even know it existed. I'll have to see about renting that one.

Also, it has Jeff Bridges, so I know I'll enjoy it.

I wanted to watch that one when it came out, but never got the chance. Is it streaming anywhere? I haven't seen it on any services I've subscribed to at least
