Re: The Gear Page
Yeah, totally SMFH. I'm not too bent out of shape about it though. But for a day during my ban, I totally thought I was going to come back and delete all 2400 of my posts there and close my account. But that's cool because I've got some catching up to do here if I'm ever going to be a famous milf! I think I've gotten used to the interface of this forum enough that I am finally enjoying surfing it!

Re: The Gear Page
I deleted a ton of posts on TGP out of one thread and some got really bent out of shape about it. Caused a few vacations. Fun stuff.
I’ve been banned from TGP twice now, by the same mod. Gotten it overruled twice. Live in the grey matter.

Their politics rule would be better if typing 'virtue signaling' was an insta-ban.

I read about half of that and I'm not sure why. I feel like my mom watching real housewives on TVChankgeez wrote:I'm guessin' it's probably this one (although I haven't looked at it since yesterday):

Yep. My guess is without the heavy no-politics moderation that TGP could quickly turn into a Stormfront auxiliary, but also with discussion about guitar gear.jirodreamsofdank wrote:Their politics rule would be better if typing 'virtue signaling' was an insta-ban.

Does anyone remember the mayhem of the Guitar World forums? I think when that one closed all those trolls migrated to HC and then turned that into a lunatic asylum.

i don't like to toss the word "fascist" around lightly, but TGP definitely has some borderline cases. and the sexism is just astounding. have these people learned nothing from the 60s-00s?

A few months ago I was searching for information on something and wound up finding another gear forum that was TGP refugees who were mad that it was too liberal and the mods hated America and cops

Re: The Gear Page
If someone on TGP asserts that rap music isn't music, and someone else points out that it is, guess which one gets flagged for being political?

Re: The Gear Page
I only read or post on TGP every once in a while. I just had a thread locked for the first time over there over the weekend. In retaliation, I reported the post of the mod who closed it. Can't imagine that will go over well.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.
