PS I really, really enjoyed doing this. Got me out of a rut. We should do it more often

yeah, I'm definitely not making that...

Yesterday was the first time I actually got to work on this with speakers... much more sexy & fun than headphones....
there was something all the time... work, kids, housemate.... or me deciding to pull a hendrix and not to live that day
might have a chance tomorrow!

I'm really stoked for this. Mostly because I am such a caveman musician and don't have a clue how to go about it. Stoked to see what everyone comes up with!

That's like 95% of the fun of musician-ing. Doing shit wrong until wrong sounds right somehow.

Word, sent mine in last night so hopefully it is still cool. Took way longer to upload to drop box than I thought it would, fell asleep on the couch waiting but actually got something done.

So because of life things I have not checked the email and won't until tonight. If you PM'd me a track I got it and you're in.
Rudimentary sequencing thoughts will start tomorrow, and I'll get everything all packaged up nice and tidy for our mastering engineer par excellence, DRodz, by the weekend.

Sweet!

And hey, thanks for putting this together.

I CAN'T WAIT TO TOUCH ALL YOUR MUSICS!
Seriously though. Work will probably start on the weekend of the 27th, because I have a 4 day weekend to lock myself in a windowless room, my natural habitat.
If anyone has any particular requests, pm me here. I'm likely going to have to master to whoever track is most slammed, but I'll try and keep the dynamic ones as popping as possible. Mine is a lot less dynamic than I usually like, but whatever.

This week got a little more hectic than I anticipated but sequencing is done (thank you random integer creation) and it'll be headed to DRod later this afternoon. Hope everyone is as stoked about listening to it when it's 'finished' as I am -- and it does, ultimately, provide a bit of an answer to the question that lead to this thread being created, so cheers to that.

Ah, wait, just to triple-check.
I have tunes from Eiwind, Spacelord, MonkeyDancer, Osc., Pop Vulture, Aquietcabin1978, ognoy, and Drod (and me, obvs.)
If you sent me something in a PM and you're not on that list, I totally erased it because I am a moron. Plz get in touch if you have a finished track and you're not one of those 9 people, thanks.

I'm bummed I wasn't able to actually do this, but I'm happy to hear what you other guys have done. Hope my sample was actually useful.

I just logged on to bug you about this. Well timed D.o.S.
I'm curious to see how different the tracks turned out.
