It's at the end of that one. That phrase has just been stuck in my head for years....for whatever reason.

Death Comes to Town didn't air didn't air in the states (at least not where I could watch it). But, I did internet watch it.

Internet style.

What a skit, haha! Bunch of weirdos... it was cool to see them back, I'm glad they did that... did you get a kick out of it? You still see Dave Foley around here and there.. he was on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia for a couple episodes recently.

It wasn't what I expected, but I did enjoy myself during the viewing. Certainly.

Oh yeah, Foley is all over the place. And Bruce McCulloch had himself two comedy type albums that I enjoyed.

And....umm.....I draw pictures of robots and ghosts and turtles.

So, all is good in the world!

Soooo I love this pedal so far. It's amazing. But I was wondering if anyone has any good settings for different sounds they like?

I've got some cool settings for you!

BOSS VB-2 vibrato setting: Mix - 75% to 100%, Treble - 75% to 100%, bottom toggle switch - middle position, Clock (the swirly) - 0% to 25%, Rate and Volume - how you like. This gives you a nice clean and clear vibrato effect and you're hearing just the wet output of the chorus chip, if you have Mix set 100%, true pitch vibrato.

Light flanger setting: Mix - 50ish%, bottom toggle switch - middle or left position, Clock - 0% to 25%, Volume - 50ish%, Rate - how you like.

Dark, thick chorus setting: Mix - 50ish%, bottom toggle switch - left position, Clock - 50ish%, Treble - 0% to 50%, Volume - 75ish%, Rate - how you like. (Turn this into a bright chorus sound by turning the Treble all the way up.)

Weird extreme pitch-bending: Mix - 100%, bottom toggle switch - right position, Clock - 100%, Volume and Rate and Treble - how you like.

Weird ring-mod sounds: Mix - 100%, bottom toggle switch - try all 3 settings, all sound cool, Clock - try all settings, all sound cool, Rate - 90% to 100%, Volume and Treble - how you like.

Awesome to hear you're liking it and let me know if you have any other questions!

The Cosmichorus is great, that thing has such a HUGE range. I sent it in awhile back to be updated and it's better than ever. I can get all the standard chorus fare but it also excels at insanity. It bested my Polychorus, AM chorus, and Small Clone sending them all on their way which is pretty amazing as those pedals really don't sound alike.

I also have a Pitch Pirate but I find the CC can cover most of the same sounds, minus that weird rhythmic thump with the PP. What do you think Ryan, do you find a lot of useful settings on the PP that can't be almost duplicated by your own pedal?

One issue I had early was a volume drop whenever running an OD pedal into it, is that common? I just rearranged and it sounds great, never really put a chorus pedal that early in my chain but it seems to do the trick.

Update:
So, remember how I loved the Cosmichorus before? I've been waiting to blast it with a year4545, and today I did....
Match made in HEAVEN. I used to not find much use of the longer rates, but now it gets kinda phaserish with the 4545 behind it.
Kirby ain't going anywhere.

Thanks, Shannon! I think the PP gets wackier than the CC, more extreme, and I think it uses a different style of chip for its effect so it has a different kind of chorus sound at the non-extreme settings which is very cool sounding too... it's really just best to get one of every single pedal out there, hate to miss any cool tones! *smile*

As for the volume drop running the OD into it.. pedal interactions are really complicated and unpredictable. Sorry for the cop out answer but level controls, series resistances, unknown impedances.. it's a jungle out there for a guitar signal. I try to keep my pedals buffered cleanly in and out so they play well with others but it can be a crap shoot as to how anything is gonna sound with anything else.

Loving this video, Eric, the tones are awesome! The 4545 sounds killer! I love that slow sweep sound, one of my favourite sounds of the pedal. Thanks for posting that!
