I sat out my first year here because I didn't know dudes enough.

I dunno how much time and money I spent last year but it was worth it because it was a dude I "knew", and that is half the fun. It's not some bullshit about paying your dues, it's about having enough time to develop a relationship with someone, or rather enough someones that you have a real chance of getting someone you've got a decent idea of who they are, even pre-stalking.

I'd rather sit it out than be relegated to a sub category. That said. I'd also rather sit it out than deal with so many unhappy people. I just think it would be fun to stalk some of the people I enjoy posting with on here and getting them something that would make their holiday season. Y'all make the call, not a huge deal either way.

I'm not sure this year. I have almost no Guitar/Musical gear interest right now.

I guess I don't get why people are so upset about the noobs participating. That is how we get to know them. Stalk their posts and make a point to interact with them.

I don't really care either way, but the level of seriousness over this is a little extreme to me.

Bah! When Eric did run this i wanted to participate with not enough Posts and i didn't get ANY answer to my question. So an Open Diskussion is an improvment imo.

I think it's cool. Like JA is cool with me and has a TB account, so yes you can cross stalk. Also, ever heard of Facebook? I mean come on guys.

Plus as I stated earlier I've seen LONG time member fuck people over. So the post count don't mean shit IMO. It's transactions that mean something.

Not that I'm not for or against anyone in particular (I'd grit my teeth and get casecandy some awesome shit if he was my ILFSS) but the idea of "just stalk him/her somewhere else!" seems really counterintuitive to the idea of a secret santa based around being a part of ILF.
