That's actually a good idea. That way I will hear him when he inevitably comes to kill me in my sleep someday.

Sweet. I just picked that cd up for $6.78 shipped. Plus got another one she did with Philip Blackburn called Ghostly Psalms for $5.99 shipped, and a Philip Blackburn solo album for $5.92 shipped. I would be fool to pass up those prices. Thanks for the validation. :joy:

"Four Sets of Boomwhackers
Four Sets (each set has a C scale and 8 notes)
From lightly used to never used
Each set has 8 tubes, C to C
Pitches are color coded
Pitches are also named as C and "Do," etc.
4 Sets allows 32 participants to each have a tuned tube
Make music, make chords, enjoy percussion circles...totally fun!
Recommended for ages 3 to adults. Everyone can enjoy the joy of making music
Excellent for team building at the corporate and school levels
The joy of percussion team activities enhances self-esteem and sense of community
Very durable"

I would LOVE a hammered dulcimer. Theres a dude on etsy than makes miniature ones, US only though, shipping to UK was something insane like $200

I wouldn't mind having one, but it is not high up on my list of wants.

I'm tempted to buy a Dilruba. I am concerned about having to tune so many strings though as I hate tuning strings. I prefer playing out of tune instruments usually, but for something like this I think it will need to be in tune to get the most bang out of it with the sympathetic strings and so on and so forth.

These things are great :) I bought some for my son when he was five or six, and we beat them into the kitchen floor (it is linoleum over concrete) and I dangled two microphones nearby, one went into a delay and the other went in clean and recorded the messy noise - it was great fun, really got him into wanting to play with instruments... luckily he opted for guitars over percussion or our neighbours would've killed us by now! Hmmm if it wasn't 1AM I'd get our set out again, haven't looked at them in years...
