Yeah, why not, I believe that has been brought up earlier. Who and how, and when, and all that kind of questions turned out hard, I believe.
Someone offered to make an iPhone app for free, but I never heard about it again...
oh, righty.

not a bad idea. But the builder sub forums are full of demos already, I'm not sure whether it would clarify things if they were commented in both subforums. Just saying. NOthing against the idea.

I think it might best serve the purpose if it worked a s a simple demo library reference database: it would only contain the main youtube tag links or url links, and a link forward to the mother thread in the proper builder subforum split as locked separate instances from there - all the comments would be on the builder subforum. That would make sense to me.

So I know this was only an idea, but any chance for an app?

I see some forums have an icon behind the pagenumbers of a thread.. When you click the icon, you go to the last post you've read, or the first unread post in that thread.. I think that will be cool for ILF

I just brought this up in another thread where i was the OP but i think maybe having a "Newbie forum" with a stickied FAQ with pedal basics and oddball questions with posted answers would be awesome. Basically a forum where people who are new to "boutique or custom" pedals can ask questions that they might feel scared to ask for fear of being called stupid or a newbie. This helps invite younger and newer members and customers for the pedal makers represented on this site but don't the differences between their gear and mass produced mass advertised gear, and also leaves the gear forum open for discussions about new gear, settings, and more advanced questions about specific gear, and not my numerous threads asking weird oddball questions which probably should be posted in such a forum.

I suggest (read: demand) a sticky "Let's see your drums" thread in the gear section... keys/synths, guitars (and basses), pedalboards, amps... everything has their place... but the drums...
I feel like nobody cares about the drums

We should have a poll if that is sufficient.
