hell yes, thank you! any idea what's next?

can't get over how awesome/crazy this thing is. the lfo (if that's what it is?) is the sweetest sounding/best executed one i've heard in a delay. it took me a while to even figure out there is one (or whatever it is?) because of how subtle and 'organic' it can be. the little warp takes the echo from up and down to straight up fucking mangled and unrecognizable. the degrade knob is kind of like a time control for the tape stability (Feedback???) or something?? IDK!! it's super dynamic and trips me out. can you share the differences between repeat modes and tape inputs? hard for me to figure out. oo it also brings the harsh

Oh yeah--pure win! No need for tape, bbd, or modelling when you have Andrew on tap--he is a wizard and the ED is purely original (and deserves MOAR hype imo), and that was a fantastic demo....

Hey buddy, sorry I couldn't reply sooner!
It doesn't have an LFO but I have augmented the artifacts in the circuit and within the delay chip to really bring out the dirtiness and sweetness of the circuit

The degrade knob acts as that, it cuts down the signal and degrades the audio output, the repeat modes have to do with the fidelity of the "tape" I'm actually going to rename it as "tape age" The tape input has to do with how hard the incoming signal is hitting the tape and the tape stability knob controls how stable the tape modulation will be

Of course everything interacts with everything else and many functions do many different things

Did you find the manual in the box? It's happened a few times where people didn't realize and tossed away the box

Incredible demo BTW dude, you always show the different sides to my pedals, and it's amazing! Thank you!!

Hey Everyone
I have made adjustments to the circuit and now it will have all the same functions of the two switches incorporated into the existing controls. The repeat mode switch was like a tape fidelity that turns it from lo-fi to very lo-fi which now is controlled with the time knob. The tape input modes have to do with the tape modulation and I have adjusted that to have all three mode ranges in the single tape stability knob.

Well, due to overwhelming demand, I am keeping the switches on this beast. Here is one I finished last night

Ugh the Echo Degrader text looks so good, like it's heading into a slimey monsters mouth. Impeccable shit as always.

i forgot to reply but yes i did get the manual! it didn't mean shit to me when I read it but I totally get it now

tape input is basically like threshold and stability is like lofi or lofuckingfi. still having a blast with it! I recorded a bunch of 4 tracks recently and listening back to them I'm having a hard time differentiating between the actual tape & pedal

good call on keeping the switches! can only imagine it to be more versatile this way.
to anyone looking for dying machines sounds in a box - this pedal is for you. can also be be used as a standalone device for producing tape degrading like textures which is fucking amazing in itself.

Heyyyyyyyyyyyy Andrew.
I'm just curious as to whether the location of the input and output jacks on these bad boys is open to change, or are they fixed as a result of the interior going ons?
I'm going to place an order probably early next month and the location I am currently seeing around of on the sides towards the bottom would prove problematic in my rig.
If not it's no stress, i'll make it work, I'm just curious.
I am still very much in love with my Reverb Machine man, and am looking forward to adding its sibling

Sorry I couldn't reply sooner, unfortunately they have to stay on the sides unless I put it in a bigger enclosure. The first couple I did were with top mounted jacks but they would barely fit in there with the backplates on and it was a lot harder to build. Sounds great buddy, whenever you're ready just give me a shout and I'm glad you're enjoying the RM

Yeah fair as hell, to be honest all I'm going to have to do is buy a few patch cables and move a bit o shit around a little bit. Easy
