I've noticed that too. Kind of sucks, cause I want the tiny 3u that I have to be fully interractive, but I dunno. I still kind of want a Polivolks
Curious to hear how you like the Braids.

i spent a few hours with it at ctrl and it's really incredible. really, really musical. i could see someone with a 3u like you having it as your main sound generator. i think the whole mutable line would appeal to you, in particular the new tides and frames modules as there is SO MUCH hidden functionality. you could really pack ALOT into a small space.

Yeah I've been looking into the Mutable Instruments stuff cause it just seems so deep and well thought out which I enjoy. Just wish I had more money to throw at it haha

Serge sequenced by Elektron Analog Four via Dirge Format Jumbler. Give it a minute, I ended up really enjoying the patch. I was BSing around to make something to accompany the more percussive sounds and so I present to you : Rooster Sax and the DrumLine

Re: Can we talk about modular synths?
A variation on the last patch, I switched some patch cords around and changed the sequence. I was only able to wiggle one-handed but all and all I dig it.

Re: Can we talk about modular synths?
Thanks! I really dig the rhythm in the second vid as well. Before I pull all of the bananas out and start over, I am going to record some loops of this patch, change up the rhythms, etc and eventually load that into my Octatrack!

Re: Can we talk about modular synths?
Man…I am so wanting to sell a lot of my other gear for more Serge or Serge-like/compatible stuff….
I just haven't had this much fun exploring sound and rhythm in SO long. The possibilities seem endless to me.
The problem is…I should keep my pedals, they are awesome, putting them in effects send on my mixer gives them lots more possibilities. My little drum machine is worth more to me than the $75 I would get from it. My Elecktron stuff is handy;
Analog Four-for the price I paid used, I can't replace it's functionality, 64 step CV sequencer, 4 voices of synth (Poly or Monos), It can do drums and percussion too (or record those into the Octa).
Octatrack- STUPID POWERFUL. Really I got an amazing price on it too (used). If I play out in an Non-Experimental/Improvisional capacity with synths, etc. It becomes Key, and it can get super freaky too.
Pretty much leaves my bass, I could downgrade to a Squier and get One panel of Serge-Like and interesting. I think I would eventually regret that though….
So look likes I will just have to have fun with all the cool shit that I have…
POOR ME

Re: Can we talk about modular synths?
What are you guys using in terms of cases. I really like and have heard good things about mono rocket cases but god damn if I can justify near a grand after shipping on that.
