Looks like mine were lost on the ILFocolypse 2012 so here.

Wife traded seemstress work for this Entry Level P Copy.

Bought this off a friend who was in need of some cash.

And of course my main player.

The Beatle Bass copy I'll probably just upgrade the tuners on and toss on some Flats.

The P Bass Copy I want to mod with pups,...new neck,...bridge,...tuner blah blah blah.

DAT Status,....Hrrrrngh,...Didn't Status also do a headless bass as well,...I prefer the more traditional one better methinks. Also that Carbon is renewing my GAS for a Modulus Genesis 5er.

Also DAT Musician,.....Hrrrrrrngh.

Those are great. I played with a guy years ago with one of those and it sounded amazing. He was a dickwad, but the bass ... :!!!:
Thing weighed a ton though --- or I was totally out of shape I suppose, but I remember it was like hauling around a big chunk o furniture.

That is fiiiiiine. I really like how you make your own weird things.
V-basses are way cooler than V-guitars.

I'm usually not too big a fan of Vs but that's pretty sweet. I would totally rock that.

Hot.
What is that other pickup in the p?

I have no idea, I don't see a name or something like that.. Maybe some cheap ass thing.. But I know that I don't really like how it sounds, I think I am going to replace it with something else, but I still don't know what. :idk: Might make a topic sometime, when I have saved some money..
Wonder if you could get a Darkstar in there ...
might need a bit more routing, but it'd be worth it.

I was searching for a pickup like this, it looks awesome! :joy: I was surfing some of the big pickup manufacturers, but they are mostly active or to modern looking, which is not really my taste! So I will keep that one in mind!:)

I bought a p-bass the other day, and it's the first one I've ever owned ever? I feel weird.

Real Darkstars are almost impossible to find. I know of a French Luthier that is making some. Also, Hansen Chi Sonics (in some Laklands) are a similar pickup. I opted to go that route.

As far as I know, Hammon disappears every now and then, so he's not making any Darkstars at the moment.
