Awesome.....now maybe you won't get annoying questions from fools like me asking "will it work well with bass?".... ;)

I've got a Pharaoh comin' to me from a trade.....one of the new versions with the GE/SI switch, so no need for a mod now. I appreciate all your help man, you've really got somethin' special in the Black Forest and I can't WAIT to try the Pharaoh!

I'll say it again, the Black Forest fucking KILLS on bass!!!

The Black Forest is Doom City.....in fact, it really makes me want to play Funeralopolis over and over and over..........

Where's the Doom Claw smilie when you need it? The headbanger smilie is either on meth or listening to some Black Metal....

Yeah I'm kinda GAS'n for one of these babies now too.

But really, I just need a tube amp first before I start overloading on all the fuzz pedals here. =P

This, all though i would put speakers and cab together as one unit unless you've blown out your speakers in an all ready "decent" cab.

I still kinda prefer my epiphones over my gibson, but that may be due to them being 24 frets, and blacked out.... So i can see guitar actually being last, i paid less than 200$ a piece for my epi's. One came with the pickups i use the other one i spent 150$ on the pickups. If your going for the Doom Toanz pickups seem to make a bigger difference tone wise than the quality of the guitar. Playability and comfort are dictated by the guitar more to me, so if its cheap and ya like how it plays, replace it last.

I just added the laughing smiley because other boards have the priorities of that shit all messed up. I wouldn't have put cables before guitar until I got a Lava Coily and some better patch cables a couple months ago. But I'd buy more quality cable(s) before I upgraded my Squier Grindoom to something more expensive.

I've blown plenty of speakers and find them more important to sexy sound than the cab they're in. Even shitty MDF cabs have their place, cuz I never heard a cab as heavy as my old Laney until I heard an Emperor. I think it's that they both weigh a couple hundred pounds, more than the material they're made from.

I agree with the cables, made a HUGE difference in tone and eq settings. Hey if the squier plays how ya like, and it sounds great keep a rockin it. It's not the name on the guitar that makes the biggest difference, but the person playing it.

Yeah i'm def jaded by owning 4 emperor cabs. I never would have thought the actual cab would make a difference, i always thought it was the speakers that made the biggest difference, until i got my first emperor. Not that speakers don't make a huge difference even with an MDF or plywood cab, it's just that I find it worth the extra investment to have a solid cab around them. All though for aesthetics sake i've always wanted to buy a bunch of fender m-80 carpet covered cabs and load em with decent speakers, it's their weird combination of shittyness and uniqueness added to their utter cheapness (that's alot of "ness") that has a strange appeal to me....
