Based on his other "fun" projects, I'm not really expecting much at all out of it. I just hope it's more "fan service" and less "fuck the fans I have the money to make the films I want to make"

Tried out Amazing Stories hoping it would be.. something. It's not. Skipped through the first two episodes. Incredibly boring, predictable, cheesy and cloyingly PC. Avoid.

One episode into The Midnight Gospel and it's like...a Joe Rogan podcast if everyone was actually on DMT.

Watched the first episode of that last night. Bit weird but I enjoyed it!

I wanted to check that out but all I could remember was "weird cartoon" and apparently that wasn't enough of a clue.

so I know I'm 2 years late on this one, but I watched Hereditary finally....

I'm not sure I'm a fan of how the director wanted to keep the audience as in the dark as the rest of the cast. That just made the ending a lot to process while trying to remember the previous hour+ of build up. Loved the tension of the film and the visuals though.

Also no idea if it's related to the new medication or not but I can't shake the last bit of the movie (from the time the son wakes up to the credits). Can't get it out of my skull.

Interesting. Really want to see that because I loved Midsommar. Definitely reminds me I should watch that one. :thumb:

Started watching Ozark last night, seems good so far.

I was planning on starting it next week. :thumb:

Also, I've never been a Marvel-fanboy, but I decided to watch some of the movies I missed (I stopped after the first Avengers).. Watched Dr. Strange and it was nice, Thor Ragnarok is hilarious too, soooo stupid - I usually hate Marvel's need of constantly putting jokes in the wrong moments, but this one was soo filled with those that i took it more like I comic movie.
On the other side, Spiderman Homecoming was one of the most boring movies ever.

I thought they did a good job of creating a serious tone out of Infinity War and End Game. There were still a few jokes thrown in but they seemed to fit the personality and situation instead of just being shoe-horned for no reason.

yeah. i'm soooooooo burnt on Marvel, but Waikdifbtitiki can do no wrong, so RagnaROKK will always be my favorite.

i didn't LOVE the first season, but saw that Future Man was done after 3 all were up, so been going through them. it's more decent than i remembered? not great, but i grew to like the main characters pretty well. almost done with season 2.

Personally found the finale to be a serious letdown.
SPOILER : show
All the bullshit that happens in the show and yet there's no payoff. They just end it with, "welp, we just timetraveled to when Josh was a kid, hyuck, that's all folks". :whateva:

It was definitely not what I was expecting, but incompetence was basically the theme of the show.

Made a Disney+ account the last month because of my daughter, but I'm actually watching a lot of documentaries and stuff.
Watched Free Solo tonight, recommended whether you like mountain or not, really intense.
