If you can, get yourself an older JC. Might be much more affordable than they new JC40.
I want one real bad as well. Playing the JC-77 at UC's and Eivind's space and in the mausoleum reignited my love for this clean and precise sound.

I know a dude who (allegedly) banged Imogen Heap wearing a fur coat on top of a grand piano when she was in town/in the process of guesting on his band's record.
No idea how true it is, but I want to believe.

the warped vinyl is absolutely amazing, but I felt fucking weird having so much money tied up into it vs how I was using it. really needed a sampler to replace my 4 track and some kind of noise box for my drummer, anyways. didn't realize the timebender needs it's own wall wart tho -____-;; might not have gone for it if I picked up on it.. dude took my offer so I was stoked on the deal

I'm pretty sure you can get someone to install a standard 9v Boss adapter in there. I've seen it done before.

The Timebender originally had an AC adapter with a current spec that is not gonna be supported even by most isolated supplies that give an AC outlet. They changed to DC at the end of the product life. A mod may be possible to have it run on a more common DC standard, but it's not an easy "change the jack" sort of job--you would have to mess with the internal supply circuitry. And if that mod is already out there, I really want to know so I can scoop up the next deal I see on an AC supply model.

Does anyone know where to get custom cases ordered/built? I have everything else for my Ambika ordered but a case.
On a side note, fucking hell building this thing is expensive. I'm at like ~$400 now and thats not even all 6 voices.
