Just a hole.

I recently realized how little I use the tone knob after wiring my bass to be volume-only.
I only use the tone when running through certain fuzzes, or if I get a new set of rounds I'll turn it down a bit until they die.

I'm the same with guitar. Volumes knobs, occassionally. Tone knobs, never .

im like for real? no tone knobs? then you took that shit to the next level, son! :?: :wha?: :wha?: :yay: :yay: :yay:

p.s.Fisheye how do you feel about that FenderRoadWorn stuff?
I honestly can't decide how I feel man. I mean it seems fake...
Does it look good? I guess, but how much does that shit cost?
I'm not tryin to offend, of course, just, does it look cool enough to be worth it?
I also wonder about buying one that looks worn in versus really wearing one in over time...
Sure not everybody can do that, but is there like some invisible trade off... :idk: :snax: (i'm baked) :)*

The RoadWorn pickguard looks amazing, it is actually a mint green, but has aged look to it. It looks beautiful. I did the "relic job" by my self. Metal parts are aged with acid and the finish is physically distressed. Oh and the pickguard was secondhand for 20 eur.

Is that a car-door rearview mirror attached to the guitar? :?:

Don't even have my camera around so can't get a better picture, but it's a strat. Took out all the electronics and jacks and everything and replaced, also put in some duckbucker pickups, better than the name sounds haha.

Maybe it's some magical motion-controlled thing. Like how some dude put a Wah Probe on his guitar.
Or maybe it's a mirror.

ok i think by now i can show you my "other #1" (yeah i know... but it's impossible to choose between the two).
this is an early '65 (NOV64 neck stamp) Fender Jazzmaster. i picked it up for cheap, and it had a terrible THICK and sticky old white refin, so i decided to go somewhere pretty unconventional... swapped the original tort for a used mint green AVRI and had a friend do the paint.

non-original logo... otherwise pretty much all stock. original (and pretty hot) abigail ybarra neck pickup. LOVE that one.

Pat.

Sort of.

It's a small mirror that attaches to thing using suction cups (or lick n' sticks if you're a bro)
I took those off and duct taped it on.
The knobs have been taken out and the holes are covered up by my grandmother's bingo stickers.
There's also a lot of other weird things I've added over the years on impulse on the back and sides. :idk:
