I know Parker is excited to head back over that way. He also said it'll be his first time in NZ after the OZ dates, so that will be fun for them.

Last time we talked he said that Cough had been practicing/writing a bit too, so that's cool

Also, Skully, so stoked about any Windhand related news. Really geared up to see them in a few weeks. Hopefully they're excited to be heading down here. We're starting to get into hot and steamy weather in October, so I guess they better get ready for that.

Studying later does make you more focused on getting it right. I have to present a quick lesson idea in a couple of hours and I'm stressing I'm gonna do it the right way. This shit would not have bothered me when I was in my twenties.

Mate...I have to do all this shit before I move back to Australia...aint a hope in hell I will be able to afford that kind of gear down there. Even though it all started as a discussion the move is become set in stone for mid next year now...so my gear acquisition is becoming more real as well.

I wish I had seen Windhand when they were in London earlier in the year...life and family got in the way of that one...I am looking forward to YOB and Pallbearer on Monday night. I was watching this today, getting myself in the mood...I wonder if Mike is taking his Hovercraft on the road in Europe??

Cool! NZ is really fun. They need to go on the Canyon Swing if the tour takes them near Queenstown on the South Island.

Yeah dude, even if you could find that shit down here, get ready to cough up a kidney for it. Definitely acquire mad British amps while you can.

 Travelling Hovercaft of Intercontinental Destruction.
That will be a killer show.

You see how much Mike likes/is playing out of those Hovercrafts and you're interest is piqued but it probably just isn't worth it.

I need some doombro guidance. Buy a cheap black 80's Peavey Nitro I to use as my standard tuning axe or keep stocking up on cheap pedals?

I would think a standard tuning guitar would come in handy to say the least, no?

You guys killed it with those. It makes so much other stuff unneeded.

Yup, I've only got one in B right now. Plenty of basses. I was gonna buy another Carvin, but that money went to the dentist. The Peavey I found is under $200 shipped. Figure I could afford to upgrade and set it up for a bit more if necessary. It has a tremolo bridge, which isn't my bag, but I can block it.

Ha. Of course. I'm a set dresser and sometimes scenic industrial for movies and TV.
