I blew up my Electric today...maybe I should break down and actually get a bass amp but I wanted to see how the Electric would sound with a Mesa 2x15 bass cab I just picked up. It sounded great for about 15 minutes and then total silence. Still powers up and of the two fuses in the back I could check, I didn't see anything wrong. I'll have to take it in next week.
In more positive news, I get an email from Ed Rembold that my new Openhaus 2013 model should be shipping in a handful of weeks. I'll try to learn how to post a clip and maybe I'll compare it to the Vault and an older Openhaus.
Wow, that sucks. I hope you can work out the problem. Those amps aren't cheap. And there is a huge wait list.
Speaking of wait lists, congrats on the Openhaus. I've been waiting for almost two years now. I'm pretty much waiting for all Ed's pedals. I'll be totally fucked if my name comes up at the same time.

Well, it was the one on top of the one on top of the acoustic cab. We sold it today so it's all good. My gear fund is healthier, tonys keeping the nicer of the two we had here, and the guy that bought it seemed thrilled. So its all good. basically the whole transaction paid for my destroyer. wish I could find more Sunn stuff for cheap like that, I'd have the EGC allready there's a model T in Portland right now for a grand, thinks its a reissue though so I'm not gonna mess with it.

Wife and I went thrift store shopping tonight, came home with this-
It was a pos when intially sold I'm sure, but for $15 i couldn't pass it up. works great and sounds hilarious with all fuzz pedals running into it. Just spitting madness of fuzz. Might be fun to record with. At any rate it can live on my bench and I can use it when I'm messing with pedals or guitars circuits.

Yah, I heard that as well. Kinda disappointing. But Mammoth is still going forward for their Model T vision, right?
