It's pretty incredible the variety of sounds you can get from the CL organs. They are similar in many ways but can cover slightly different sonic territory in not too subtle ways. I believe the dual Master Pitch and Chaos knobs on the Tetrax account for that. An interesting thing I've found is when you send audio out from the oscillator jacks rather than through the envelopes of playing the barres you open up a lot of new possibilities and new sounds when you patch the two organs together.
annnnnnd, here's a listen to the Dynacord Echocord Mini Tape Echo. It has two inputs with their own volume controls, so I plugged the stereo outs of a Sidrax in and here you go. There's two short takes, first I've got the volumes up around noon and that adds some nice grit. In the second I don't push the preamps so hard but towards the end I turn the DRY tone knob into the bass range and that gets gritty too.

heyo, Space is the place eh? Roland RE-201 Space Echo tape echo, I made two little demos. In the first I've got one of the stereo channels from a Ciat-Lonbarde Sidrax plugged into the Main instrument input, and the other channel plugged into one of the Mic inputs. In the second I plugged both channels into their own Mic input. Went through all the modes, probably more detail in the video descriptions.

hey now, here's a listen to a Morley EDL Electrostatic Delay Line oil can delay that I am just about to take apart and clean/replace the oil. Figured I should record a quick demo in case things don't go as well as I am hoping. I'm running a single channel from a Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax bass organ into it, and I've sent it's Wet and Dry out's to a Montreal Assembly fewtility one. First is 100% Wet signal, pretty warbly eh? then I blend in the Dry.

ayyy, here's a listen to that there lovely WEM Custom Copicat tubed tape delay. Running a Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax into its two inputs, with each oscillator patched to FM two other oscillators. I go through the range of the pitch controls, really liked how it went in and out of some chaotic sounds.

hey, so finally got around to hooking up the Gieskes Oscillatoscope 1b cv/audio to video converter synth. Closest TV was downstairs so only able to use my GoPro to record audio but should be good enough to hear how the audio is reflected as video. First up I have a Ciat-Lonbarde Tocante Zenert plugged into the Gieskes, then switch to a Tocante Phashi. Only made adjustments to one of the knobs and didn't press any of the buttons...kinda hard to see what was going on in the dark haha.

hey now, here running the Ciat-Lonbarde Tocante Phashi sine wave touch synth through the Gieskes cv/audio to video converter. I don't make any changes to the gieskes, just play multiple sandrodes throughout.

ayyylmao, here's a look see and listen to the Ciat-Lonbarde Tocante Karper ran through the Gieskes Oscillatoscope 1b at audio rate converted to video. Pretty similar setting to what I used in the Phashi demo, the vertical arrangement seems best suited to audio rate signals...at least considering I still have no idea what this thing does haha.

If you play all five of the video synth videos at the same time, they sound pretty damn good as a 1970s electro acoustic experimental composition... and the Dynacord Echocord Mini Tape Echo video, or at least the first minute of it made me think of the sort of synth sounds that Joe Meek used on I hear a new world... If I hadn't become smugly pleased with some weird noises I made today that were supposed to be cellos but failed beautifully, I think I'd be jealous

That Gieskes Oscillatoscope looks pretty awesome. I'm going to have to add that to my list. It would go excellent with the BPMC Premium Cable that I have on the way

wow that BPMC look FUN. All those demos with Tocante are just using Audio rate, the Gieskes also converts up to 2 CV inputs to Video, and maybe 3 with its CV starve input...the CV starve I guess is also the optional Audio to Video input. still trying to figure this thing out, there is some jumper I havn't sussed out yet.

I've been really wanting some form of audio/cv to video device, but I haven't found too many that really interested me, which is why I settled on the Premium Cable instead. That Gieskes looks great though.

I've only been converting Audio to Video with these Tocante demos, but finally got around to converting CV to video through it and

tons of fun. Running channels 1 and 4 of Maths into it gets insane
sooo, here is the final in my little series of converting the Ciat-Lonbarde Tocante touch synths audio output to video with the Gieskes Oscillatoscope 1b. This time the Zenert which is a bit different from the other Tocante in that its Noise instead of waveforms as far as I understand. Sounds like beautifully pitched winds sounds for instance. I use a couple pieces of aluminum foil on the touch pad throughout for giggles.
