Well, it's a dude so a noodz request may be slightly disappointing on your end. :p

He's someone I just assumed was not into dudes, so when he approached me I was like:

I should hope that my balls descend before our next interaction so I can verbally construct an affirmative "LETS FUCK". :surprise:

Dick pics from the photo-copier left on his desk in a manila folder w/ a sticky note stating, "3rd floor men's room, second stall, 6:15, bring extra 'toner'".

Of course this only works in an office situation, but I'm sure it can be adapted towards any situation.

Watched this video I posted when I first started getting into effects. Even if I was (still am) a shitty axe-man, I love the sounds I got here.

Anyone else ever write a response to a post - especially in a debate type thread - so long that you end up just saying fuck it and deleting it and don't end up posting anything?

All the time.
Sometimes I have a little artifact of a post that would be GREAT but I can't come up with the rest of the post to support it.

My problem is I write out this whole huge thing, and then I think 'No matter how much I write or support this, no matter how many angles I attack this from, it is not going to carry over to the people I'm debating with'. You really need to speak face to face with a person - preferably over beers - in order to fully (or as close as possible) understand eachother.

On a side whatever note: I frequently edit grammar, spelling, and content of my posts hours after posting them.

totally. especially if i realize that the person i'm responding to was trolling in some way or another or trying to get up my back, but also because at a certain point arguing with a True Believer of whatever stripe is pointless. when you're dealing with anyone with an impervious worldview, whether it's about the nature of the universe, the optimal mode of political organization, or the relative worth of a particular band, you might as well munch on concrete blocks, because they're just not listening.

i feel a weird sort of anxiety and shit! but i just finished a really cool and kind of ambitious art project so i'm drinking gifted alcohol. also reading. also this is so interesting even though it's rambling and kind of poorly written i don't even care. i always think of shoegaze as 'amniotic' because that's the feeling i get when i listen to it, warm, comfortable, enveloped. so i think this applies a lot to not just chillwave. i think i am the worst kind of nerd and shit

five or ten years ago every other twentysomething wasn’t making hazy, woozy, droney, “womblike music”. there was no band called Baths and no crop of hundreds of projects that sound like washed out. but suddenly there are multiple micro-movements that sound like nosedives back into the uterus, “amniotic”, because the world has gotten too hopeless and terrifying to handle. two years ago bands like toro y moi (age 23) and baths (age 21) and the hundreds of other projects that sound like that might have been (or were) on the beach, because two years ago it seemed like the economy might recover soon and the beach was a fun place to wait it out or escape it temporarily. now they’re crawling back into bed or getting into the bath

and missing the idea that chillwave and its siblings are the product of a collapsing economy and the instinct to escape it, and the effect the economy is having on the first generation of kids to have it worse than their parents, kids who graduate prestigious schools and wind up working at the supermarket, kids who have no hope of making a decent living as a musician for very long if at all, is like thinking that citizen kane is a movie about a sled and animal farm is a book about some talking animals. every music writer that has written about chillwave and neglected to understand this just failed the kids who make it. chillwave is an economic phenomenon, and it’s the sound of kids who are long past anger and frustration and defiance
