I don't think it is based on anything directly. It uses glass diodes and the tube afterwards for gain. But better read it yourself: http://www.effectrode.com/helios-tube-fuzz/
It sounds very unique. Never had a fuzz that sounds like this. But hadn't much time with it yet. Will give it a run at the practice space next week...

That and the eel from Super Mario 64. And dianogas. And any shark in any game ever.
Endless Ocean is basically the king of horror games for me, and it's supposed to be educational or whatever.

Finger on the trigger for a ss/bs Fuck. It seems so cool and usable and I normally dislike overdrive but he says that's why he made it and it does crackley and fucked up sounds and it's so shiny and gets all teh ILF hype and it will stack so well with my fuzzes and then I can move my Superfuzz off the board and to the end of the chain to permanently fuzz all dem verbs and echos and holy hot dicks from hell it's called fuck that's so rad omg
