My wife watches any show where people sing as part of a competition... The sun will explode before those shows die out I'm afraid.

just finished Watchmen. i liked it a LOT. the ending, and like 4 or 5 REVEALS were either really well telegraphed or kinda predictable. or i'm a GENIUS. but it was very enjoyable and beautiful to watch. want moreeeeee.
.... my wife adores trashy stuff like Kardashians or 90 Day Fiance. i sit in bed gaming on a Switch while she watches stuff. pretty easy to be present but ignore the stuff i... would not watch myself.

Amazing Interiors is great you guys
How do the women put up with this stuff (not all, but the ones that are weird basement projects initiated by the men)??

Wife: Half a lifetime of quiet desperation, staying in the marriage for the kids, wondering what could have been over every cup of morning coffee
Husband: "I can use gears from the junkyard engine in the kids' room to make this horse statue into a STEAMPUNK UNICORN!"

iiiii.... won't? unless The Wifey has her interest sparked?
i AM watching Preacher right now. so far, pretty awesome. only 2 or so episodes in. i like the casting for Cassidy.... kind of? love the actor, but he'll always be Rudy One and Two from Misfits to me. and he's not really grimy enough? love the Tulip. Jesse was always the most meh and unconnectable character from the books (which i just reread. parts hold up really well, some parts really do NOT.) for me so... good... casting?
Arseface was a bit of a disappointment, but he was never a favorites of mine.
i love different takes on material, it does NOT have to be a frame by frame remake... i don't really get the point of that. but pleaaaaaaase don't fuck up Starr.

But you could watch people create their weird homes and wonder "how can they afford this?"

lol. i mean. i don't know. that just... doesn't sound like a good time to me?
i'm usually into something that will make me laugh or escapist fantasy shizz.
i like people. i think most people are good and trying to make the world better, at least a little. i don't like watching sad things. and i think that would make me sad?

Rounders (Netflix) is even worse than I remembered except for Turturro and Malkovich chrewing scenery like it's fresh baked bread.

Wife can't get into Watchmen after 3, so I'm clear to finish it myself now. Not surprising; it does seem like you need to know the comics to get everything. She's also dumped Witcher after 6, but I'll finish it soon as it was just starting to grow on me.
Final season of Vikings is underway, better late than never.

I loved the TV version of Starr, maybe more than the comic character (definitely so for Tulip).

I'm probably incapable of viewing Picard objectively but I love the first episode.

I watched What Did Jack Do and it was exactly what I was expecting from David Lynch
