Re: UG demos Bass Bistab through three Seppuku delays

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

Ayyo, here's a listen to a Tocante Bass Bistab through a Koma FT201 sending the lopass out through a Seppuku Dynamic Echo Modulator, the hipass is through a Kompakt Kassette. Both of those are running through the stereo IC Water. Just using the ft201's filters, the step sequencer is turned off here.

Are you sure you just didn't record yourself rippin' bong hits? Because that's kinda what it sounds like. ;)

Good lord it sounds like you've got Autechre in a box (or three!) there :) That is impressively mashed and blended sound.

all three of those seppuku have such unique behavior and sound of their own, REALLY glad i tried running the dem and kk parallel into the ic, just loved everything about how that turned out. was awesome using the infrared sensor of the ft201 on the cutoff frequency as a sorta mixer/trigger for the dem and kk.

Re: UG demos Tocante with Snazzy FX pedals and IFM euro

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

so hey, check this out. Ran the Tocante Phashi sinewave and Bass Bistab squarewave through the pedal version Snazzy FX Mini-Ark, into Tracer City into Wow & Flutter. The Tracer City has CV from an Ieaskul F Mobenthey Fourses module, with the CV out of the Mini-Ark into the Fourses. Used a Montreal Assembly fewtility one as mixer for the two Tocante.

Re: UG demos micro_research ERD/ERD Vampiric Editon

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

heyo, here's a listen to that there micro research ERD/ERD Vampiric Edition. Using a Mannequins Mangrove's formant out through it, with a second Mangrove's square out as the cv, then bypass the holy earth and just use my hands. Then send the second Mangrove's formant into the erd cv input, and sync the two Mangrove's.

Re: UG demos Meng Qi Hand, Lines, Pressure Points.

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

Hey oh, here's a look see and listen to the Meng Qi Hand, Lines, and Make Noise Pressure Points with 2x Ieaskul F Mobenthey Fourses, Denum and Sprott. Sent the Fourses through Lines to modulate the Denum and Sprott. Denum through their own Sprott. One Hand to Denum VCA and other to a Sprott's VCA. Pressure Points are controlling the Fourses and Sprott. EOL from one Hand is clocking Brains, other's EOL into T-CLK so every time I touch a pressure pad the two clock signals get intimate or something. Just kinda patched a control out to an in for the most part.

Re: UG demos more Meng Qi Hand, Lines, and Pressure Points

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

ayyo, heres another listen to Meng Qi Lines, Hand and Pressure Points controlling them there IFM. Similar patch to last time where I just semi-randomly patched outs to ins, Fourses through Lines to modulate Denum whenever Lines are touched, Pressure Points are modulating Fourses and Sprott. Patched the Tuned Voltage outs of PP to change the Bounds of Fourses, this time I must have patched one to a Diode input on a Sprott...those inputs seem to respond best to square waves and influence the pitch of the filters, that resulted in that melody. If Lines aren't touched then its just static Denum through Sprott.

Re: UG demos 3x Ieaskul F Mobenthey Fourses

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

Hey now, here's a listen to 3x Ieaskul F Mobenthey all patched together. I sent a couple outs through the Signal Inserts of that neat left/rite bipolar vca on Dunst, used a couple of the other outs as VCA Inputs and sent those Left/Rite outs to my interface and back to modulate the Fourses. Just randomly patched Outs to Control Ins between the Fourses. The three way toggles change the rate from up position CV, to Audio, and LFO in the down postition.

mwfx page seems down :idk:
otherwise just messing with the way these two pedals pitchshift, along with how the AN gets those crazy s/h type responses towards the end. that little blue light on the bottom right of the AN lights up whenever its sampling, then it cuts that up depending on settings until a new sample is triggered. pretty neat
