Did anyone see P4K put out a "10 best of 2017" video on their youtube like a week ago?
Within 24hr they got completely roasted in the comments & deleted it.

It was 200.0% bougie hipster mutual-fluffing (even for p4k) as if they tried to 1up themselves and simultaneously slurp *****diverse***** artists while summarizing each record by lavishing the typical *groundbreaking* *innovative* type praises before playing a sample snippet clip contradictory to those characterizations. The bigger, underlying message however... was pushing a less than subtle, pandering political slant for activist high-fives

To this day my favorite example of that is in 2007 when MIA - Kala was "awarded" album of the year because it was the most "worldly".

@retinal orbita - I'm so into that stuff but...I really didn't keep up with it this year. 2015 me would be screaming (I went to noise shows like every weekend that year).
I am yet to listen to the FULL OF HELL / THOU collab. That's on today's docket.

Hold off on the 2018 list until goroth's album debuts (Friday)!!! That would be a good one to start with!!!

The art director also completely shit the bed, the room, the house, the studio with their interpretation of Columbia. Not enough depends in the world for how much that was shit up.
