That's what I was thinking.

I tuned my Jets to sound exactly like David Foster Wallace hitting a tennis ball into Jonathan Franzen's face.

Careful, a 5-megaton thermonuclear warhead is nothing to play around with.

*ugh* A third batch has been announced for this Friday. I wish they would go ahead and start sending some to dealers, so I could finance one.
As an in-state resident, these are about $480 with tax. At that price, I'd rather make a down payment on a premium analog synth.

Yeah I can't deal with that price either. It's just too much. Maybe later. So fucking tempting.

Just curious, what would you get? I am not, and never again will be, on the market for a synth. Kind of curious what people who are really into gear are into.

Wasn't directed at me, but if I were to drop a chunk of change on a nice synth, I'd probably go with a Voyager or an OB-6.
Actually, edit... I had ordered an Elektron Analog Rytm but cancelled because they seemed to be indefinitely backordered, and I changed my mind about spending the money. But... I still want one and am holding off on peds because of that.

Totally respect your input too popvulture! Those prophets sound great. SEVEN FIELDS has two of them.
SEVEN FIELDS playing prophets (yes, plural).

Yeah those "new" Prophet REV2s are pretty appealing at 1500 bux. From what I gather they're really just renamed Prophet 08s with maybe a few tweaks and a price reduction? I always liked those.

Stupid Tennessee tax laws. At 9.25%, this is why I never buy pedals locally. It's cheaper to get something off the net, not to mention finding a sale.
