Yeah, it was really good. Wish there had been more of it.
Yeah just finished. Was a bit disappointed they ended it there, but I also hate the vadt majority of modern hip hop.
With the exception of MF Doom & co, Atmosphere et al. and the like.
There was a lot of deep shit, in the series, that I didn't know about. But, I wish there'd been more about the Beastie Boys, BDP/KRS-ONE, and the Wu Tang Clan. Hell, there coulda been a whole episode devoted to the Wu.

Yeah I was annoyed at the lack of WTC and Beasties particularly, but I guess not everyone who was anyone wanted to participate.
It was pretty quality overall, though.

Nah, Japanese Netflix has a ton more anime.
Yeah, which is one of the reasons why it sucks balls for me

.
The big new things end up here at the same time now but there's been a huge number of times when I searched for things that were not available here (but obviously in the netflix database as I got related suggestions)...

Ditched The Expanse. Came back to it today and by the 5th episode it finally hooked me.

Does the 100 ever get good? I just watched the first episode and barely made it through it.

You gotta get through the first five or so before it really improves. It remains fairly comic booky and grimdark, but it gets a LOT better when they get past all the initial teen drama stuff. Once the ball gets rolling, it just gets more and more entertaining all the way through the second season, which is some genuinely good post-apocalyptic TV. High art, it ain't, but it's fun and OTT, like they decided to mash up a bunch of '90s Saturday morning shows and video games with extra sex and violence.

13 reasons why is pretty intriguing as far as shows set in an American high school go.
They got me by playing Joy Division a lot so you might as well disregard that.

That one kid who emulates the 50s greaser while driving a 60s Mustang, pretty much carries that "aloof and pouty" look for the entirety of the show.

Finally, a new season of Sense8.
But it sucks that there's only ten episodes.

The little secret of his we learn along the way totally explains it
But the storyline revolves around tapes and walkmans, so that's that? Currently episode 8

I tried watching that one because it was recommended by a coworker and had to start after a couple of episodes. It just seemed bad to me. The story might have had a few bits of interesting things but buried in cliches. And annoying characters.
Does it get better after that ?
Edit : I meant "I had to stop after a couple of episodes", "I had to start" makes no sense and I obviously lack brains or sleep.

I gave up after about 6 episodes, didn't seem to be getting that much better.

I'm glad my gf is caught up on The Catch 'cause I'd rather stare at a wall than make myself pay attention to that show.
(don't tell her I said that)

Yes, I am 2 years late, it seems.
I watched a couple of those. While it was good enough to watch, during those occassions (@friends house), I didn't feel the need to seek it out and continue.

Narcos is great for playing the "Will this character get shot in the face by the end of the episode?" drinking game.
