I don't find it ugly, but dude that's like saying any rack gear is pretty :idk:

I mean... not much to do there :idk: every rack thing is sort of "meh" innit

Not really rack gear :idk: but at least the tubes light up!

Rack gear is a black panel designed to fit with other black panels and fit in 1U/2U/4U spaces! Function over form.

Comparatively, that Bricasti is not bad at all.

This is both me posting some things that i like but others might find ugly, and being very admittedly pedantic w/r/t RFURT's post. Sorry in advance, but also never sorry. Mostly this is just about celebrating the many horrific color palettes and terrible graphic design/UI design of rackmount synths:

I gotta stop, but holy hell. So many of these things are beautiful and hard to read. Love it. Also, thank god for E-Mu and 90s Waldorf.

I love all that camo gear, so so wrong. I once ordered an extremely cheap telecaster that was supposed to be orange. They didn't have it in that color anymore so they sent me this without even asking:

Hated it back then so I spray painted it in an ugly blue color, now it's pink though which is the only thing that's better than camo I guess. Would totally just rock the camo if that happened to me now though

I can't play teles (make my arm cramp like nobody's business on any I've ever tried).

I'd play that.

May be ugly, but at least it's more comfortable to play :idk: :

Actually that yellow is gorgeous, and i kinda like teles with the whatever-that's-called-when-it's-sanded-away. My biggest complaint about my t-40 is it's a flat plank of wood.

It's the white knobs I can't get past. It reminds me of a leisure suit with matching white belt (extra wide) and white shoes. But, now that I have seen those other pieces of rack gear posted above, I am starting to think it doesn't look so bad anymore.

The photo of the Bricasti makes it more white than other photos I've seen; the knobs are supposed to be grey last I looked.

I see, it's not very photogenic either.

Yeah, it's supposed to be a Bill Nash version of Beck's famous Esquire.

(… and it's supposed to be "Butterscotch", psychic vamp.)

Lots of people have thrown contours on Tele bodies after Beck though. It makes sense.

Slab bodies look nice, but they're no fun to play.

The only thing I like the slab on is a Mustang.
