That board is mighty mighty fine. This is a great project. Hats off to you guys! Can't wait to see the graphics later!

Not yet because I am having the cases fabricated. Which won't take that long (money talks LOL), but I'm having the design drawn up. Right now the biggest hold up is the prototype. The capacitors were accidentally miss placed (wrong values, wrong spots), plus the schematic was slightly off. LOL. It sucks, but it will be fixed soon. This does set me back though unfortunately. It will however give you guys that really want them time to save.
The reason for the fabricated boxes over let's say PPP, or Mammoth or any other supplier is simply cost, time it takes to have them done, the actual dimensions I want, and the fact that these will be extremely sturdy.
Question or two though.
What color would you guys want boxes? I'm a fan of anodized black, but I could go anyway. It's a fuzz. I some don't care about the colors, but humor me.
I'm not sure about the end graphic for the production run will be, but there was mention of a goat head bee. I'm cool with that! That sound interesting?

Thanks man!!! Roy is amazing to work with!! If you ever need help in that regards, he's great! Plus he is seriously like an electronics wizard or something. LOL

Anodized red for enclosures is my vote. Black is cool too maybe black base with red graphic? That'd be brutal.

I do love the idea of the Goat/Bee mashup. As far as colors, something that's a striking contrast for the graphic would be awesome!
I'm assuming these are going to be etched right dude? In what seems like a lot of the etches I've seen the cool graphic designs kinda get lost when it's black on black(ish) and the like.

Black with Gold graphics? Either that or black and some obnoxious shade of neon green for the graphics.

SO! It's being redrawn and re-prototyped. Darn it. I'm sorry guys. I should have waited on starting a thread but I got so excited.
There is a possibility of adding something to the circuit though. What do you feel it's lacking? If anything?
OH! And the most exciting thing is I'll be having custom enclosures made for this! So no Hammond boxes. No need to fuck with companies that will just screw up my process! It's going to have a sleek Strymon type look (the smaller Strymon's), so much, much more pedalboard friendly.
Anyway, here is the PCB. Like I said, it's being debugged and going to be redone, but this is pretty much how it will look minus having the name Aonys written on it.

Dude, sucks that the fuzz ain't fuzzing. This pedal is going to be great, but now that you asked about what to add... What about putting a crazy simple fuzz or OD circuit onto the clean blend so that it can be a dirty blend? Clean blend sounds good on bass but sounds shit on guitar. It could even be something that doesn't require an extra knob (even the more knobs = moar good) - just a toggle with a standard setting.

That would just be a chaos switch.
I like clean blend on guitar, some of my favorite rhythm tones on the Elements have a bit of the clean signal in them. Then again I play on a 7 string/sometimes in Open C.

Anything black is aok with me.
Truthfully, it could be pink and I'd use it if it sounded right.
Wouldn't say no to a chaos switch if the design allows for it.

Dude once you show some graphics its gonna be a hot number, fo sho. don't have much time to build these days but in the future I will def contact him. I want to learn eagle but don't want to learn eagle. Can't wait to see the final beast. Especially since you are doing specialized enclosures. Very fun...

So as far as the graphics. I can't do different colors UNLESS I did vinyl graphics, which would mean I wouldn't be lasering it. So with the laser, the way it works, is you have let's say a solid black color right. You hit the laser and it eats that black away and exposes what's beneath. With anodized metals, a lot of times it can produce a white color. So I could potentially do Red/white, black/white. I can make the knob layouts black with a white backing, and the graphic itself black with a white background.
It's a bit more complicated than that, but let's just stick to the box color for the sake of ease. LOL. I'm thinking black, as it reacts the best and will result with a high contrast that you will really dig.
A chaos switch. Hmmm...that is ILF isn't it. LOL. SO I like the idea of that, but what exactly would you want it to do? Oscillate? Gate the circuit?
Oh and as far as the clean blend. The preamp has a bit of gain in it, so it will be semi dirty. The blend it only for bass players.
I'm thinking of doing two runs, one without and one with. But gotta talk to Roy about that.
Mainly because of the frequencies of the preamp as well. So there would have to be some revisions first. I think you guys will still dig it though regardless.
Plus you don't have to use the clean knob.

Just turn that sucker all the way dirty!

Oscillate/gate/whatever works within the particular circuit.
It could spit out daisies.
Hell, make it spit out daisies.

Secondary Fleshlight capability maybe? I'll just mod it myself otherwise
