Sorry for the shitty sound, but you can still tell that the SubOctave is less extreme and glitchy in its filtering and also has more low end. Also, lower volume. But the characteristics/decays are similar, so Rhys probably used the same chip for the filtering.

Hey, you used the non-glitch mode of the Sub-Octave Synthesizer in comparison to the glitch mode of the Junktone.UglyCasanova wrote:Sorry for the shitty sound, but you can still tell that the SubOctave is less extreme and glitchy in its filtering and also has more low end. So it is true: you really don't wear pants while visiting ILF.
Why is this on a different channel? Trying to market to a different youtube demographic?
They do sound really similar, though. Thanks!

No, both in glitch. If you compare the first setting of the Junk Tone with the last setting on the SubOctave you can hear that they sound almost identical. They overlap at most extreme on the SubOctave and the lowest setting on the Junk Tone.Pepe wrote:Hey, you used the non-glitch mode of the Sub-Octave Synthesizer in comparison to the glitch mode of the Junktone.UglyCasanova wrote:Sorry for the shitty sound, but you can still tell that the SubOctave is less extreme and glitchy in its filtering and also has more low end. Lord: Haha, yes! A pantsless boner is a free boner!
I filmed and uploaded it from my phone, as the living room had gf and friends watching a movie in it.

Pepe: I did some research now, and I can see why you'd think that it sounds non-glitchy. There must be one of those "Rhys keep changing the circuit" kind of deal, because I can't make this sounds with my SubOctave, but it sounds like the Junk Tone at 0:27 and 3:30.

Re: UglyCasanova's demo archive (Seppuku FX - Junk Tone)
I should use my webserver that has nothing on it to make a seppuku revision archive to keep all this straight. Like an old school fan page! (known revisions, etc) haha. Use those webdesign and php skills for something. Make it look like a glitched family tree.
Umm, was also thinking about making an ILF/UG searchable demo archive. Like it lists the pedals in the vid, the author, etc. Maybe add reviews? Could be fun? (Finding things on youtbue can be a pain).

Give me a week, it will be back up. Been lazy...and there was no point to it. http://contriviad.net/broodinghipthrust/ is about the only thing up (my friend's comic that I helped with...not my doing though).
