Awesome...actually played guitar today and some spkjr (trying to get it in the right range still), green monster and 86 were all I used. 86 is such a great sounding fuzz. Congrats man!

Hey, thanks for spotting it and telling me. It's such a cool little guy, getting some really sweet sounds out of it. And teh oscillations! :!!!:

Now I just need the 87. And the 89. :excellent:

You should make more demos dude, if you've got the time. That sounds like a great setup!

It's all about talent or practice. I have none of the latter and haven't had time to improve lately. haha. September I will probably get going on more personal projects instead of all this actual work.

Can't wait for your demo though!

Will probably make it tomorrow. Pedal was easy to figure out, so I don't feel like I need more time to get to know her before I shoot. Instant awesome. :joy:

Man, bumping the older LAL Thread. viewtopic.php?f=149&t=38866 is the newer one.
Can't recommend them enough though. Misty Cave is great. The blooms of resonance are awesome.

thanks dude, think I need one. NOW! anybody want to trade? @.@
also researching the CP and possibly downsizing from the ehx bsm
so many awesome pedals these days!

I have a Misty Cave I might have to sell in the next couple of days (heavy emphasis on Might).

You want dibs?

Edit: Just saw the other thread. I also have 2 RM-1N's. What do you want to know about how they compare to the Misty Cave?

well I probably would only be into trades right now being as I'm too broke to invest anymore into pedals
need to clear some out
but thanks dude

No worries. I hope I don't have to sell it, TBH.

2 rm-1n's! you and skip :wha?:
well I've been through a lot of reverbs, probably because I love the sound of the DMM so much and most reverbs are too thin or something
the red panda was cool but not for me
the dispatch master was cool too but again not it
have a subdecay that's great for spring and a little more that sounds honest
basically do they sound similar for most settings or which has more weird possibilities?
they both seems like they can do lot thought the RM-1s has way more knobs...
:idk:
the misty cave has me though, the rm1s might be too crazy in terms of chaos for just a reverb pedal?
I have a ton of fuzz

Sorry man. I didn't mean to seem like a jerk, just letting you know there is more info on the site. haha.

One thing about the misty cave: it always sounds like the misty cave. There isn't a lot of tones you are going to get out of it. But when you need that one unique misty cave tone, that is it. i think it sounds extrememly natural and it is very different to play (almost like you are trying to hit the modulated res. in certain spots to make a sudden burst of life) but I wouldn't say it is the most versitile. Amazing sound though. There is another thread running around here just for the misty cave: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=46596&hilit=cop+t ... cave+sound

EHX BSM? I don't know that one. If you are refering to the Bass Micro Synth, I dunno if the Cyber Psychic would really do. The Cyber Psychic really needs an exp pedal to bring it to life.

Came in to say exactly this. The RM-1N is a much 'better' reverb... but the Misty Cave isn't really a reverb at all.

I might not be after a reverb I guess, we'll see. trying to emulate with how I tweak DSP in logic mainly.
which tends to sound huge and thick. and consumes all my cpu power.
think SUNN 0))) and Earth stuff, so the resonance echo might be more what I want.
but think maybe I might need both of these.
:picard:

Lastgasp web store/Hiro will be gone from sept 13-27...either it is a vacation for him (which is probably needed) or is a push to get a new pedal out (probably just being hopeful).

(mostly an excuse to bump the thread)

Anyone tried the Gomorrah on VI? I think I'd like it...
