I'm not sure what you mean about the knobs?

He's asking where you get your knobs from.
I believe Bobby makes them himself?

Heretofore I have made all of my own knobs and will still do so.
However I did come across the knobs that I used on the most recent mockups with pickguards. Those knobs were made years ago. The company tells me they can still make them but I'll need a $1,675 minimum order.
If I can get that kind of $ together I will certainly have them made!!!

Yeah it's a bit more work but I like having as much of the guitar be unique as possible!

Saw the Provateur and wanted to see what a double cut could look like...the power of Preview everybody. I think a double cut of either side would suit the guitar. But the double pickguard looks soooo nice.

Oh crazy!
My immediate impressions: the double cut body isn't too far removed from a double cut gretsch jet.
The dbl pickguards remind me of the old gibson everly brothers acoustic.
Also the dbl pick guards kind of give the guitar a look like...was there a guitar called "the scorpion"???
Anyway if you like that look I could probably make you one like that. ;-) just sayin!
Get that down payment in!

Bookmatched top and all?

A bookmatched top would be difficult UNLESS the body was made of a couple layers. I'd have to have a block of wood 3.5" thick to be able to make a solid book matched body.
So it would either be not bookmatched or it could have a bookmatched cap.
But that wouldn't matter anyway if the guitar was to be painted a solid color.

I was joking about the bookmatching.
That photoshop is nicely bookmatched though.

Ah I see! Stupid text based communication taking context out of everything!
Bookmatching would be kinda cool though! I suppose you wouldn't see much of it though because of the pickguards

Yeah, i thought it looked like that gretsch after i finished it!
Only problem i can see with it is that it would be very bottom heavy. Like the new fender coronado, the thing kept falling back off my leg haha
