First 'pedal' I ever owned, it's still going strong! Played at least 100 gigs (all the way from high-school talent shows, to big proper paid outdoor gigs) over fifteen years with it.

It's been dropped, stood on, had things spilled on it, thrown into bags and cars, and it is as wonderful as ever.

First pedals I ever bought were Boss. Sold them ages ago.

Currently on my second BF-2 Flanger. NEVER LEAVE ME... :omg:

After many years thinking about it, then forgetting/remembering/forgetting, etc, I bought an HR-2. Usually I can't be bothered to figure out "correct" harmonies and just set it to something random and glitchy. So much fun. :thumb:

Hey everyone,

Which of the Boss DD delays would you recommend? I'm lookng for something cheap and proper digital sounding.

DD-3 is a great digital delay I think. Simple and cheap.

DD-3 is the cheapest. The DD5 through 7 sound more pristine because they have higher sample sizes.

It's good enough for Bonamassa, so it's good enough for me ;) bought my DD-3 because of his sweet lead tones and wasnt disappointed. Clean and clear, all knobs at noon and ready to go for everything I play. Don't need a tap tempo, it feels more alive when the delays are not in sync with the song tempo :thumb:

Guys, I have the chance to get a BF 2 for 50€ in as new condition. Should I take it? Basically I want that Barracuda sound going and some whoosh from time to time. Can it do that?

BOSS = solid. I have a DS-1, BF3 (I know the BF-2 sounds awesome but this one gets ridiculous airplane sounds), HM-2 (I think it's taiwanese), DD-3, a japanese GEB and it's parametric equivalent, an OC-2 (tracks terribly in the best way) and a ODB-3. They don't always get used but they never do me dirty

DD-5 reverse mode, still pretty damn okay.

Yep, that's a good price for a great pedal. It gets close to Barracuda, but it does its own thing. Other pedals can get you closer I think, but there are so many good sounds in a BF-2 you should have one anyway.
