What kind of power supply are you using? I used a dedicated Boss 9v plug with my and it worked fine, but I also have an active bass which seems to bump it up a notch on most effects.

I used a dc brick and then a dedicated boss style adapter. Both....nothing.

Do you know about the internal trimpot that you can access to get unity volume? try that.

I didn't, need to adjust this one myself. Is it right there, all obvious, when you open it up?

The faye sing requires an output that gives out at least 150mA, if u have a pedal power 2 then you should plug the pedal
into the high output outputs, number 5 and 6 i think they are

what about a DC Brick?

Duder, mine did this as well but with a PP2+ 9V 250mA out. It would phase, but shit was inconsistent. The green LED would always come on, but effect was come and go. Not sure on the Brick, don't think it likes the daisy chain really. I gave it plenty o' juice, 9V 200mA wall wart, you had to switch it on/off a couple times to get her running, then all good. But I hate wall warts...

Emailed Ken, he got right back with suggestions, the winner being run it at 12V. Think he said the digital relay switch will have enough power (not sure if it starts up at higher mA like some pedals :idk: ) and the circuit is isolated regardless. Moved it to the CIOKS 12V 200mA out as the PP2+ drops to like 60mA at 12V. Worked like a charm, never a problem since. If yours doesn't work at all, not even randomly, may have a different issue altogether...

What's weird is univalve powers his at 9V 80mA with success :wha?: ! Must be that German engineered electricity, pure efficiency. :thumb:

I don't actually have one, the trim pot was discussed elsewhere (show us your pedalboard thread) I was just offering other possible solutions. :)

If it doesn't work at all with a power supply that should provide over 150mA, that suggests to me that maybe there's a problem with your pedal. But I'm no expert, it definitely seems like trying 12V or a 9V supply with more power would be a good idea before giving up.

And AFAIK the trimpot is just the overall output volume, so I don't see that helping.

:(

Problem kind of solved I guess!!!! I just used the power supply that comes with Strymon pedals and it works!!!! I really fucking love it! This is the best Phaser I have ever owned to use with fuzz. Goddamn!

What would be a good isolated 12v 200ma adapter to get? Link me.

Apparently the dc brick can only handle up to 1000mA combined, u probably already exceeded that :poke:

The reason that strymon power supply worked is cause strymon pedals being digital likely require power supplies
that put out over 100mA at least

Your favorite German motherfucker brings shit to run with 80mA

Awesome, I'm very glad I was wrong!

I don't know about 12V, but I use this or something like it: http://www.johnnyshredfreak.com/store/i ... ucts_id=12

1.5A will definitely cover the power requirements of any 9V pedal, I daisy chain 8 pedals off mine no problem, and have used it for like 11/12 without issues in the past.

$18.75 new is the cheapest I've seen.

I tried running the Faye Sing through my Brick with no other pedals hooked up to it and it still didn't get it to work so it's definitely a voltage problem with the Brick.

Now I'm either going to search for a new power supply for my board or just flip the Faye and use my Bad Stone clone for phase :idk:

Faye's Her update?

I think the Faye's Her is not far away.
A bit beyond what I need and I only have limited space on my board.
Just bought a Faye Sing yesterday and should be on its way to me soon.
Hurray! :success:
Are people gonna flip the Faye Sings in order to get the Faye's Hers?
I was tempted to hold off for a used but too hungry for it.

we had a separate thread for the faye's her. but i don't find it anymore - is it also a victim of the ilf meltdown?
