If it sounds too good to be true, usually is. I'm not very big into LPs so I'm horrible at spotting fakes. For a year old LP custom the gold sure wore off fast on those humbuckers. The guys on the Gibson forums and mylespaul.com can spot fakes quicker than shit. At that price they're either fake, stolen, or being sold by a pissed off blooz lawyer wife.

That first one, at least, is a fake. The headstock inlay is wrong, and Gibson would never put that sticker on the control cavity cover.
I'm gonna call the second one, too. Weird placement on the knobs and that fretboard looks to be rosewood.

That's higher than retail on those DHgate guitars.

fake as fuck. the headstocks on both are obviously wrong, and only a faker would have it say "Gibson" twice on the back of the guitar.

my friend has a couple chinese gibson copies that he only replaced the electronics in. including pickups of course. theyre like 300-350 each from china.

the les paul he has ....he likes it more than the last 3 "real" gibsons he has had. (nashville gibbys)

and he knows his shit. he has been playing forever, and he plays like a fucking beast.

that black beauty up there on NYC CL is so obviously fucking fake though, why put the decal on the cavity cover...why sell it for 1/6 or whatever the real value...so obvious...so dumb.

the ones my friend gets...obviously way better fakes than the pieces of shit up top.
