sure, the strings are probably the most obvious way to generate sound. Lots of different things you can do with just the strings and its delay and/or pitch shifting wave reverb. There are a couple contact mics attached to the box so you can also play the box, or the surface the box is sitting on, even singing at the box can be picked up. Its delay will repeat for hours on end too without going into oscillation, letting you build up and morph the rhythms and textures. Really fun to experiment with.
Did you demonstrate those things in the video? After the initial tap on the top it seems like a 5 minute video of making tiny adjustments to two knobs.

Anyway I've always wanted to play with one of these. Cool that you have one!
I'm really glad I decided to get one, but kinda wish I would have went with the next model up so i could have inputs and be able to run other sources through it. Its delay and especially the wave reverb are soooo cool, sound so incredible. In that demo I set the feedback all the way up on the delay so that it's basically acting like a looper, then go through the range of two of the knobs on the wave reverb to try and show how much variety you can get from just a simple tap. I'll try to put together another demo showing off some of the other neat stuff I've discovered with it, also have another folktek instrument called The BUGG which sounds like crazy alien insects  I think you all would dig it too :thumb:

 :thumb: It was sounding extra lo-fi and noisy today, so had to share that.

Playing with the EVO-1 got me to pull out another Oil Can pedal from Morley, the Rotating Sound Synthesizer. Its supposed to emulate a rotating Leslie, I guess you could say it fails haha, but it fails in such a great sounding way all of its own.

The oil can delay sounded good, and then you went stereo and that was such an improvement; thanks that was quite beautiful. The other device is quite charming, but the delay wins in my book :)

:thumb: I agree about the stereo sounding best too. Having wet/dry outputs lets you do other fun stuff, and I think the 100% wet signal sounds so much juicier plus you can get a better blend with a mixer than with just the treadle.

Ciat-Lonbarde instruments are my favorite

I made a couple demos of the Tetrax, Cocoquantus    , and couple Tocante so far on this new youtube account

Here are a couple audio only I made of the Tocante, this is the Karper which is plucked string sound + crazy.

this is the innerpad of the Karper

this is the Zenert, which is pitched wind noises

and this is using aluminum foil on my fingertips with the Zenert

There are a bunch of other clyps with the Tetrax and different pedals on that account too, using CV from the Tetrax press and release gestures with the pedals etc. Peter's Ciat-Lonbarde instruments are what finally pushed me into euro, building around his Ieaskul F Mobenthey modules.

This is good reading if you wanna better idea of what's going on with his instruments beyond his often cryptic descriptions.

ayyyyyyo, here is a listen to the Fulltone Tube Tape Echo. The TTE is a clone of the mighty Echoplex EP-2 with some upgrades and new features which add to your aural pleasure. here i'm running it with no source into a Echoplex EP-2, some hot self oscillating tape delay on self oscillating tape delay action.
