What do you mean you mean you don't have one lying around your house?

I totally skimmed the first part of that post and got really confused by the second part? I was thinking, "I'm pretty sure the use it to form the new 'equipment.' It's not like you keep it in a jar on a shelf lol."

But really, isn't that the point of confessing? Things that are relatively heavy. Like me,(confession:) I have bipolar disorder. Since i was diagnosed just over a year ago, I haven't been able to talk about it with anyone I know in real life, but the anonymity of the internets is nice for these sorts of things. Some things are just easier to hide than others, and some of us freaks are just better at appearing normal.

So my point was... :erm:

i hadn't been following you since you began posting, and so i didn't know how to interpret your post. beyond that, people's gender identification really doesn't make that much difference to most folks any more outside of being an excuse for dumb jokes, especially around here, so i'm not sure what reaction you were expecting. i mean, be who you are, you know? i wouldn't expect anything less.

well, yeah, there's that, too. in a culture where feelings are paramount, nobody wants to offend. and who other than an asshole wants to inadvertently say something hurtful?

i'm to the point where i'm thinking of putting an ad on Craigslist offering to jam with people playing anything that i can play, which is basically anything other than metal or jazz which i lack the technique for. i just need to get out of the fucking house. i'd even play in a Grateful Dead cover band at this point, and i've been trying to get away from that shit for the last 20 years.

on an even less serious note... it would be more impressive if it wasn't 8 but 18... or 28 even :thumb:
