All that I know about TalkBass is what I read on this forum.

So, I'm probably not the best source of information for what goes on over there. I'm not a fan of overly moderated forums in general though.

This has only reignited my GAS for a Fanned Fret Jazzmaster with P-90s. I don't even know a builder who'd be willing to do that.

Why is Fender so fucking complicated with selling parts? It doesn't help that the pickguard I'm looking for is only found on a single model of their line, which is ironic seeing how stagnant it is.

Switched On Austin posted on IG that they have them in stock!

Thinking I might have to sell some things to make some funds...

Is it Russian ?
If so, there might be potential for weirdness but you're quite unlikely to get good info on it as these things don't pop up often in other countries.
I used to have a weird russian modulated delay rack unit that sounded lofi as fuck in a good way, I got it as a gift from the guy who organized a festival I played at in Latvia years ago... I gave it to a friend when I moved to Japan though

Yep, Russian!
Thanks for the information - lo-fi as fuck is a good thing.
I might throw $50 at it and see what happens.

Found this thread the other day while researching FXdoctor's Super 8-bit Fuzz. Pretty hilarious.

As I said, it's a bit random

Might be similar to that guy? They are really noisy (and I haven't really spent the time to get mine working).

Used to having 50-10s on my guitar. Put on a set of 52-12s with wound g-string.
Not sure if true love, too much Bass VI playing or just new string feel.

That's the way to go.
__________
Try alnico2 under bridge pickup, alnico3 under neck pickup. Cost effective shot in the arm. Paper in oil caps otoh do nothing for me.

What's up with the new mooer reverb/delay? Seems like a powerful device for ambientz on a budget

I mean, Devi's delays are all based on ancient Roland units, so I wouldn't be surprised if this could cop the tones. I have to hear it though.
I really hope this is a sign that mooer is trying to step up the quality to become a boss/EHX competitor in the mass production pedal market.

I'm thinking about trying to trade my CT5 for a raptio, anyone have both? I know they do totally different things but I'm mainly using the CT5 for frozen chord loops and such and I think the freeze and stutter may be more up my alley?
